We learned from the Super Bowl that Peyton can be beat by a good defense - personnel and gameplan. If Schwartz can get a little creative we stand a chance.

Seattle didn't even get creative. They played their base defense something like 70% of the snaps. They just had a great front and sat on all of Peyton's short routes and said "go on then... throw it over us.... we dare you." And he couldn't do it. I don't think it is an exaggeration to say Manning now has the weakest arm of the 32 starting Quarterbacks in the NFL. He is deadly accurate there is little doubt on that but clog up those short passing lanes and make him throw over the top whilst getting pressure on him with just your frotn 4 to prevent him having time for those depp routes to develop.

I think the book on how to beat Peyton is out there. It is no secret to anyone in the NFL... the problem is you still require him to not execute as well as he can. You have seen a few times this year that he has struggled Denver have done nothing.
