Just Jack Posted February 2, 2005 Share Posted February 2, 2005 Not making it, since I'll probably be at the bar with some friends, but my buddy always made this killer nacho dip..... 1lb sausage 1lb salsa (you decide on hotness) 1lb Velveeta Mexican cheese Crumple up the sausage and brown in a frying pan. While that's browning, cut up the cheese and toss it into a crockpot/slow cooker, along with the salsa. Once the sausage is done, put that in the crockpot also and let it simmer till you're ready. Line the stuff up on a table and let folks move down the line: Paper plates Napkins Hard Shells Crock pot of hamburger Crock pot of slow-cooked seasoned chicken Chopped tomatoes Chopped black olives Chopped Jalapeños Different sauces This is the main thing dish, but folks will bring other things; Chili Salsa Chips/Dips Bread with spinach dip Wings Now I'm starving for lunch.
