Terrakon Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I wasn't surprised that the people in Detroit rooted for the Bills. I'd be surprised if they Didnt! The Jets represent NYC abd lots of bad things. Believe it or not, there are Bills fans everywhere. to be clear! I am not bad mouthing NYC! just the media coverage
maddenboy Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Classy classy classy. They did justice not only to the bills, but to their city's failing image. Well done
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 What an absolutely fantastic job. I'm a Lions fans the rest of the season!!! after the Bills right?
The Wiz Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I'm rooting for Detroit in the NFC too. Amazing job by that organization. First class. I could be wrong, but isn't Pegula from Detroit as well? Carbondale, PA. Near Scranton.
YoloinOhio Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Carbondale, PA. Near Scranton. oh, ok. Thought I read somewhere he was a fan of the lions as a kid.
Garion Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Great job and really appreciated. So who is linking on their board and emailing their PR department?
The Wiz Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 oh, ok. Thought I read somewhere he was a fan of the lions as a kid. Growing up he was a detroit fan, you are correct. He even made mention of his youngest son being a lions fan at his presser.
YoloinOhio Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Growing up he was a detroit fan, you are correct. He even made mention of his youngest son being a lions fan at his presser. yep, that is what I was thinking of!
Nick the Greek Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 (edited) Undefeated at Ford Field this season.. Maybe we should play there more often Edited November 25, 2014 by ldandria
ALLEN1QB Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Thank You Detroit! You guys are a real class act. Hope we meet in the SB.
billsfanmiami(oh) Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 I was there and thought it was about as well done as possible. Had a minor ticket issue getting in, and the ushers in the first area we tried to sit at were a little confused but overall it's a little chaotic when tickets are free and it's all general admission. It was to be expected. Once settled in, it was great. A good showing of Bills fans in lower bowl on Bills side. Standing & cheering on 3rd down, singing Shout song, etc. Seemed like a lot of the Lions fans and probably the majority of the causal fans were pulling for the Bills. Probably helped that we made a ton of exciting plays. I thought all the little touches they did to make it seem like as much of a home game as possible were really well done. Overall, glad I made the 3 hr trip up then right back. Little tired today but at least the Bills made it worth the drive this time!
Doc Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Great job all around and very impressive pulling it off as quickly as they did. I'm a Detroit fan now. Oh and there were more Bills fansin Detroit than there were Giants fans in Jersey the other night.
Dorkington Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 It sounded mostly like a home game, which is more than I can say about Toronto. Kudos to Detroit, and thanks for hosting us!
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 (edited) Lots of thanks to the city of Detroit. What a great host! They even played the shout song! And kudos to all the Bills fans who made it out to the game and made it feel like we were playing at home! CBF Edited November 25, 2014 by Canadian Bills Fan
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 +1 It sounded mostly like a home game, which is more than I can say about Toronto. Kudos to Detroit, and thanks for hosting us! great point. way better than a "home" game in TO
May Day 10 Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 (edited) i thought it was well done and neat. Very proud so many Bills fans made the trip. I root for the Lions by default because Calvin Johnson has been my franchise player for about 7 years now and moving forward in FF. Edited November 25, 2014 by May Day 10
Hammered a Lot Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Indeed I was a bit surprised to see the commish at the game. Watching him being interviewed by Tasker, I took note of two very pasty white guys on the screen. Goodell is so pale he is almost see-through. I thought Tasker had to much makeup on
