Canadian Bills Fan Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) Shrimping an unconscious woman while punching the clown? What a weirdo if true LMAO I think my coworkers think I'm nuts because I just spat out my coffee laughing so hard reading that CBF Edited December 17, 2014 by Canadian Bills Fan
KD in CA Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) Hard to not be swayed after this many women have made claims, but it seems many of the claims lack clarity. Plus there's not much to be done about he-said/she-said claims from 30+ years ago. Even if the statute of limitations hadn't expired years ago on these claims, I haven't heard of the existence of any corroborating evidence in any of the claims. Edited December 17, 2014 by KD in CT

Agreed, but I'm guessing we all might be hard pressed to find anyone who looks at Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable the same as they did prior to all the allegations.
Dorkington Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 It's just too much smoke at this point for there to not be a fire. Shame, because I used to love the Cosby Show and it's wonderful social values/commentary.

Shame, because I used to love the Cosby Show and it's wonderful social values/commentary. the show still has values the same as they always did. Hell, Cosby himself still had those values ON THE SHOW. it's just in real life he may be a scumbag. Fwiw, I believe there's way too much smoke for there to not be a fire. But I do believe some of these allegations may be embellished a little. I have serious doubts he ever had to drug someone to get a piece of tail. But either way. Something is probably going on

SDS Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 although not a court of law smoking gun, but a smoking gun in my eyes... Cosby in the late 60's had a comedy bit about drugging and having sex with women. Seems to me that coincidence is far too much for me to accept, given that subject isn't necessarily a tried and true target for comedy.
Best Player Available Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Question: Why would so many women come out and accuse Cosby of this even years later? Does anyone believe this is a money grab? hardly. My Answer: Cosby, and i do not have a link but in 05 or 06 sat down with lawyers with 5 or 6 of them and basically said, how many zero's need to be on the check, for you too shut up? Do stars payoff people to go away? Absolutely. This case is different, some of the accusers have no need for money but want the truth out there. sad this POS will slide on this one. he is a funny stand up and saw him numerous times over the years. Those days are almost surely over now. His supporters soon will be counted on one hand.
mrags Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 People said the same thing about Darren Sharper. Not saying the two are alike or connected I'm just saying.... CBF people said the same thing about Mike Tyson, And Kobe Bryant too. But something tells me that neither of these men had to rape the accusers.

There are Youtube clips on practically everything now, but a 60s standup seems like it would be hard to find. It would sure be interesting if that turned up.
The Poojer Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 again, not in anyway proof, but Howard Stern had Janice Dickinson on several years ago and she tap danced around these accusations in regard to a book she was releasing and was forced to remove the references to cosby...she's a headcase but she was saying it before it became 'fashionable' to say it

4merper4mer Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 (edited) Not only is there audio, but I saw the video clip of it as well a couple weeks ago on a morning show. Somebody posted a link and it is weird. To me the weird part is that it seems out of his norm. As for Spanish Fly itself that was fairly standard comedy fare in a lot of movies and TV. I wish I could remember the movie that featured it. I think it was one that teenagers were going on a trip to Tijuana and the kid from the Bad News ears was in it but I might have it mixed up with something else. I looked it up....Losin' it. Tom Cruise is in it too. Not sure on Spanish Fly being in that one though....could have it mixed up. Edited December 17, 2014 by 4merper4mer
bbb Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 It definitely was standard comedy fare. It was like a mythical thing.
