The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Want to see what people think the attendance be. We'll come back Tuesday see who here is a failure.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 There will be lots of free tickets. 40K +

YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) There will be lots of free tickets. 40K + What if its all homeless people from outside the stadium and they just want to throw things at Schwartz and point lasers at Orton and the kickers? Edited November 21, 2014 by YoloinOhio
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 What if its all homeless people from outside the stadium and they just want to throw things at Schwartz and point lasers at Orton and the kickers? Is that kid banned from this game?

YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) [/b] Is that kid banned from this game? He's supposed to be banned from all NFL games, however, if the tickets are free how can they keep him from just walking in? Does each ticket taker have his face committed to memory? Only the Bills have these problems. smh. EDIT: Never mind he just tweeted that he will be there as well as which section he plans to sit in. Edited November 21, 2014 by YoloinOhio

Ok good. Make sure the refs know, so they know where in the stadium to turn their backs.

The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 walt Coleman says laser pointers will be legalized for the game IF they cause intentional grounding. If any player, such as Jerry Hughes points out the laser pointer to a ref, they'll actually get a 15 yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct towards the great people of Detroit.
YoloinOhio Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Free tickets per rodak! Also original tix will be accepted.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Free tickets per rodak! Also original tix will be accepted. If you have an original ticket, why would you use it when you can get your refund, and still get a free ticket.
papazoid Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The NFL is giving something away for free. Tickets for Monday night's game between the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills that was moved to Detroit are free and available first to season-ticket holders beginning Friday, and then to the general public starting Saturday on the Detroit Lions' website. Tickets also can be claimed at Ford Field on Sunday and Monday prior to the 7 p.m. ET game. All of the tickets are general admission seating, so first come, first serve. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11915388/tickets-new-york-jets-buffalo-bills-game-detroit-free
PromoTheRobot Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 If you have an original ticket, why would you use it when you can get your refund, and still get a free ticket. Because you still get a refund even if you use your ticket in Detroit. Bills said so.

PastaJoe Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 What if its all homeless people from outside the stadium and they just want to throw things at Schwartz and point lasers at Orton and the kickers? I'm hoping that the guy points the laser at the open Bills receiver's hands to show Orton where to throw.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 56,400 according to the box score. Whack 'Em Williams, fansince88, and Pete win. The rest of us suck.
CodeMonkey Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 56,400 according to the box score. Whack 'Em Williams, fansince88, and Pete win. The rest of us suck. Really? The entire upper deck was empty it seemed. What is the capacity of that place, 100K?
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 Really? The entire upper deck was empty it seemed. What is the capacity of that place, 100K? 65,000. It doesn't seem right to me either. That might just be "paid" attendance, which might include people who got the free ticket/exchanged it just in case and never ended up going.
transient Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Really? The entire upper deck was empty it seemed. What is the capacity of that place, 100K? Depended on what point in the game. I went, and the upper bowl filled in midway through the second Q and emptied out at the end of the third/middle of the 4th. Lots of single open seats between people, but most sections were probably 75-80% full at various points. All things considered, I'd guess the number they quoted was probably the number of GA tix given away online on Fri, Sa, Su (I'm sure there are several thousand luxury box seats not counted in the #), not the actual # in attendance, especially considering "Flash Seats" got all effed up, and the ticket takers were just letting anyone in at gametime.
