patfitz Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Especially considering our Bills basically stole the game with the Lions and rubbed it in with the Schwartz victory celebration. Of course it probably won't be much different than it was in Toronto.
The Frankish Reich Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I think you can expect a 60/40 split. That is, 60 Jets fans, 40 Bills fans, total attendance 100.
Kirby Jackson Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Not much because there won't be many people there but you will have the overwhelmingly majority of the neutral fans. The situation in WNY will have people behind them.
jr1 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 some "juggalos" will probably show up if tickets are free/ heavily discounted
K D Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I don't get it. How do they expect there to be any fans at all? At least Toronto there would be some Bills fans. Plus it's going to be in the 50's Monday. They really couldn't play it here? I find that hard to believe

Just pray we don't lose next weeks home game. A game I'm flying home to see. Grrrrrr
KollegeStudnet Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 History will repeat itself http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2010/dec/13/free-tix-sold-for-giants-vikings-game-in-detroit/?page=all
rumblefish Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 we just hope the laser pointers stay away
truth on hold Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 are they charging people? if it were free in a city I lived Id go even if I didnt care about the teams. I bet you'd see a lot of families with kids too

thewildrabbit Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 that looks about right Seriously, are Lions fans going to buy tickets to see the Bills play the Jets?
rsxfirefighter Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Disappointed it wasnt here in DC...I already gotten permission from the BOSS to not come home after work on Monday.. But in hindsight, even with all the ex-buffaloians here in DC Metro area, Jets fans were only a few hours away. This would have definitely been a Jets home game if it was here.
Badasss Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Detroit and Buffalo are similar cities and similar franchises (no Super Bowl rings). They also have the common characteristic of being near a major US/Canadian Border crossing. Hopefully there will be a large contingent of Canadian Bills fans at the game.
PastaJoe Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Should have played at St John Fisher. Who cares about replay, go old school.
PolishDave Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I think some Detroit fans will be there to cheer for the Jets simply because Schwartz is on the Bills' staff. Not expecting a huge turnout though. Probably a few thousand Bills fans. It will be a quiet game for both offenses. If you make it to the game, you should be able to yell specific things at the players on the field and actually have them hear you.
ALLEN1QB Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 The whole Schwartz thing is going to come back and bite them. This is why you don't act like an ass!
truth on hold Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) The whole Schwartz thing is going to come back and bite them. This is why you don't act like an ass! No one's even going to be there. Can you imagine how many would go to the Ralph on a monday evening to watch lions play vikings? Edited November 21, 2014 by JTSP
