If the game is moved to a new location, ticket refunds?

So what does this mean exactly? If I sold my Jets tickets through NFL Ticket Exchange does the buyer of those tickets get refunded at the price he/she paid on the website? What happens to the money I collected on that sale? Does it go back to NFLTE? Then I get my original ticket refunded by the Bills?

I don't think that many folks came out to shovel. Besides they might still need help for the Browns game. I think there are tickets left for that one.

That's a good question. I bet you get refunded and the money comes out of the credit card of whoever sold them to you. That person gets bent over.

Gets bent over? They sold a ticket to an event that was cancelled. They give the money back and receive face value from the team back. I'd hardly call that bent over. Simply fair.

I got this in my email, very comprehensive explanation of the refund for the Jets game.

"

REFUND AND CREDIT POLICY FOR JETS-BILLS TICKET HOLDERS

Buffalo Bills policy will affect the original account owner of record for tickets to the Jets-Bills game originally schedule for November 23, 2014 at Ralph Wilson Stadium purchased through the Bills and Ticketmaster.

Bill Season Ticket Members

Season ticket owners will have their accounts automatically credited for the Jets game to their 2015 Season Tickets. Accounts may reach out to their account representative to request a refund. Refund requests will begin being processed December 2, 2014.

Single-Game Tickets Purchased Through Ticketmaster

Fans who purchased single-game tickets by telephone or the internet through Ticketmaster will receive a refund to the credit card used for the original purchase, including fees (except UPS and InStore Pick Up, if applicable) within 7-10 business days.

If tickets were purchased in person through a Ticketmaster outlet, then the original tickets must be returned to the same outlet, where purchased, to receive a refund.

Single-Game/Group Tickets Purchased Through Bills Ticket Office

Fans who purchased single game or group tickets from the Buffalo Bills ticket office, 1-877-BB-TICKS, or online through Buffalo Bills Account Manager or Buffalo Bills Group Manager will automatically receive a refund to the same credit card from the original purchase or via check if the original tickets were purchased via cash or check. Refunds will begin being processed December 2, 2014.

Single-Game Tickets Purchased/Sold Through TicketExchange

Fans who purchased single-game tickets by Buffalo Bills/NFL TicketExchange will receive a refund to the credit card used for the original purchase, including fees (except UPS and InStore Pick Up, if applicable) within 7-10 business days.

Fans who sold tickets via Buffalo Bills/NFL TicketExchange will be contacted with an exact date when the funds will be pulled out of the sellers account.

Tickets Purchased From Other Sources

Fans who purchased tickets from a source other than the Bills or Ticketmaster must contact that specific source for a refund. The Bills are not responsible for refunds to purchasers of tickets through other sources.

For more information call the Bills ticket office at 1-877-228-4257 on Monday, November 24 when the offices re-open."

I sold my seats and paid %10 to ticketmaster.

My questions are:

Does Ticketmaster keep the %10 that they received from the initial sale of the tickets?

Are they going to charge me an additional fee to get my funds back?

Will the Bills charge me additional fees to get back my credited value?

everyone is made whole, sellers and buyers.

the only potential losers are those who purchased your tix from an unauthorized source (Fans who purchased tickets from a source other than the Bills or Ticketmaster must contact that specific source for a refund. The Bills are not responsible for refunds to purchasers of tickets through other sources.)

technically, those who sold tix through the nfl ticket exchange would lose any profit they thought they made.

For ST holders who sold tickets through TE the biggest issue is timing. NET profit will (and should) be grabbed but the default plan seems to be to grab the TOTAL PAYOUT from the original deposit source (in my case my checking account) and unless a specific request for a refund is made, for the Bills to sit on the rest of the money until next year.

I sell tickets because I have moved from the area plus my finances are not what they were when I originally became a ST holder. Its the only way I can still afford to buy seasons The DEFAULT plan should have been to give advance notice, grab the PROFITS from the seller and the rest directly from the Bills and return the funds to the buyer. At best a little legwork on the part of myself and my ST rep will prevent me from unwillingly lending money to the Bills (NFL?) but so far the plan doesn't seem to be slanted that way.

If you are a ST holder I suggest you forgo the phone call (or more likely a busy signal or 20 minute wait) and email your rep with your request. Also remember that they are most likely being affected by the storm and are only the messengers, not the policymakers. I'll give the new administration the benefit of the doubt because the issued policy has the stench of the NFL written all over it but for me this is their first true test.
