USMCBillsFan Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Sorry if already talked about but didn't see it. If the game is moved to a new location will the Bills do anything compensation wise for season ticket holders? I'd hate to just lose out on the cost of my 2 seats.

I would imagine a refund or credit to next seasons tickets. but of course they have to refund in some manner.
Gene Frenkle Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Bills coaches are preparing for the Jets game to be played Monday night in Detroit, Pittsburgh or Washington. Edit: per WGR text message Edited November 20, 2014 by Gene Frenkle
Bleed Bills Blue Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Rather than credit for next year, how about buy me a round trip ticket to Detroit?
DasNootz Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I'll go to Detroit or Cleveland if they'll give me similar or better seats than what I currently own.
Andrew Son Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I'll go to Detroit or Cleveland if they'll give me similar or better seats than what I currently own. And throw in an abandoned home
zonabb Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 And throw in an abandoned home Was that supposed to be a shot at those cities because the big three for vacant and abandoned homes includes those two and Buffalo. Pot meet kettle.
fridge Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 How are Bills fans going to attend the game if it's in Detroit or Pittsburgh? Isn't the 90 closed?
Fan in San Diego Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 How are Bills fans going to attend the game if it's in Detroit or Pittsburgh? Isn't the 90 closed? How are the players getting to the airport? Is the airport closed?
YoloinOhio Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 2m2 minutes ago Now, the two options for #Bills-#Jets in the event the game is moved are Washington and Detroit, I’m told. Edited November 20, 2014 by YoloinOhio
fridge Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 What I've learned about this the most is that the NFL, in all of it's infinite wisdom and commercial revenue, had a plan.
Screwball Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 The last time a game was moved (Minny/NY Giants) to Detroit it drew 45,000 of which 30,000 were free tickets given out. --- The game drew an announced crowd of 45,910 -- there seemed to be at least 10,000 more people in the 65,000-seat stadium late in the first half -- and some fans made the trek to specifically see Favre. "I'm devastated," said 20-year-old fan James Burton, who left his home in Ohio at 3 a.m. ET Monday to get one of the 30,000 free tickets that were distributed. Even though most got in for free, they left disappointed, especially if they were rooting for the Vikings.

Screwball Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Laser pointer guy is ready for action! hahaha
YoloinOhio Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 hahaha I'm sure he'll tweet about it if he is planning on attending. If it moves to Detroit and the Bills win, does Schwartz get to be carried off the field again?

YoloinOhio Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Albert Breer @AlbertBreer 1m1 minute ago Detroit makes sense for Bills/Jets. Indoors, mitigating risk. Closer to Buffalo than NY. And they've done it before: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/12/12/vikings-host-giants-at-ford-field/ …
