I'm not an expert scientist in this field, so over the years I've been open to the data...

No longer.

I am however an expert in immunology and virology to the extent that 30 years of experience gives you.

Therefore with what I witnessed during the pandemic with The Science(TM) being the only permitted reality, I now know the climate crap is without question a marxist farce as well.

Wake.  Up.

Them vs Us

The people who run America, or at least think they do, live in a bubble of their own construction. They’ve isolated themselves from everyday America’s realities to such a degree their views about what is and what should be happening in this country differ widely from the average American’s.

An analysis of their thinking, conducted for the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, finds that on a variety of economic, social, and political issues, there exists a wide gap between how the top 1% – the Elites – think things should be and how the rest of America looks at them.

Elite thinking, as it’s termed, is under attack – and rightly so – for being out of step with the rest of the country.

No hiding it anymore.

WHO head, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, declares war on meat and traditional agriculture, in the name of fighting "climate change":

"Our food systems are harming the health of people and planet.

Food systems contribute to over 30% of greenhouse gas emissions,

and account for almost one third of the global burden of disease."

"Transforming food systems is therefore essential, by shifting towards healthier, diversified and more plant based diets."

Anyone remember electing this clown to dictate what kind of agriculture and diets are permissible? Nope, me neither.

Same exact voices been lying about the climate for decades. always pushing the "OMG moment" back a decade.

The 6th mass extinction event they are referencing, is stated as caused by humans.  why things like Net Zero and Decarbonization are cool buzz words for how to remove the presence of humans.

"The Holocene extinction, also known as the Sixth Mass Extinction, is a profound loss of biodiversity driven by human activity1. It is the ongoing extinction event caused by humans during the Holocene epoch2. The extinction of nearly all large mammal species after the end of the ice age was done by humans hunting the animals, and by climate change3. The genera vary from mammoths to dodos, to species in the rainforest dying every year4. The Holocene extinction has been going on for the past 10,000 years5."

The Climate Models Are Wrong

by John Hinderaker

Dr. Roy Spencer, a top scientist specializing in climate, wrote a report for Heritage which he summarized on his own web site. Spencer compared observed warming in the U.S. corn belt during the summer, between 1973 and 2022–a 50-year period–with the warming that was predicted by the major climate models. He found that all of the models yielded more warming than actually occurred, most to an absurd degree.

It was -40 today on the Alaska North Slope.  Warming to a scorching hot -15 tomorrow.

But we'll hear about how the ice cap is melting over this winter.

Like most everything, come up with a "solution" that only makes the problem worse.

Ya, we ain't doing anywhere near enough to stop this from getting worse

https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2024/02/08/1-5-celsius-global-warming-record/

It’s official: For the past 12 months, the Earth was 1.5 degrees Celsius higher than in preindustrial times, scientists said Thursday, crossing a critical barrier into temperatures never experienced by human civilizations.

According to the European Union’s Copernicus Climate Change Service, the past 12 months clocked in at a scorching 1.52 degrees Celsius (2.74 degrees Fahrenheit) higher on average compared with between 1850 and 1900.

At some level, that’s not surprising — the past 12 months have been scorching, as a warm El Niño cycle combined with the signal of human-caused warming generated heat waves and extreme weather events around the globe.

“This El Nino maximum is riding on top of a base climate that is continuously warming due to climate change,” Andrew Dessler, a climate scientist at Texas A&M University, said in an email. “The combination of them is what’s giving us such hot global temperatures.”

Their response to just about anything amounts to "If I can't comprehend it, it's not real".

Pardon me if I don’t get hysterical about climate change.

In the link above, this guy.

“The world has to step up, and it has to step up now,” former President Barack Obama said. “When it comes to climate, time really is running out.”

Lives here on waterfront in Martha's Vinyard.

There's no hysteria among the wealthy or the political class.  None of them are moving or changing their habits.  Taylor Swift emitted more CO2 this weekend than a dozen typical households do in a year.

The hysteria is with the poor dopes who eat this up.  Their empty lives need something to think about and fill the void.  A few years ago, everyone talked about a "zombie apocalypse" or "5G frying your brain".  Over 20 years ago the panic was about Y2K and how all the computers around the world would crash.
