CRISIS BY DESIGN:

Potential For Catastrophic US Electric Grid Failures This Summer A Reality.

“Despite billions of federal dollars going into renewable energy, construction of wind and solar farms, as well as the needed transmission to support them, is moving at a glacial pace compared to the speed by which the Biden administration is taking coal plants offline. . . .

NERC’s latest summer reliability assessment wasn’t the first to identify growing reliability issues.”

They'll do what they usually do, blame somebody else.  In this case the utilities.  Management will stay quiet and take it up the tailpipe because if they protest or claim Federal and State legislation and regulations forced them into this generation mix and strategy of unreliable renewables dependent on variations in the weather they'll be swarmed on by the regulators and politicians with lots of hearings and blame game antics.

Lots of news recently regarding alternatives to EV's.

The large Porche eFuel plant in Texas is a go.  Honeywell is in the news focusing on aviation fuel.

Honeywell is developing the technology to produce SAF

The Toyota Hydrogen ICE is interesting as it is carbon neutral and is a better fit for the existing transportation infrastructure.  The technology also doesn't require the use of rare earth metals.

Toyota’s Hydrogen Combustion Engine Has The Potential To Make EVs Obsolete

Will be interesting to see if these technologies gain traction as nearly half of Americans recently polled will not be purchasing an EV as their next vehicle.

I don’t know guys, has anyone been outside lately on the East coast? Our colder neighbor to the north is burning in early June

You should check the weather report each day to see how cold the weather is:

Shocker: 96% of U.S. climate data is corrupted

111c5562-9241-4c4e-b500-d3da326185b3-450

This seems like an appropriate time for a story like this to pop up since it involves both smoke clouds and climate change. You probably heard how AOC was quick to blame the clouds of smoke wafting down from the Canadian wildfires last week on climate change. As you likely expected without even needing to check, that turns out to be nonsense. But the underlying facts that prove its nonsensical nature turn out to be well rooted in science. And researching this question turns up something even more interesting, which we’ll get to in a moment.

You should check out the work of veteran meteorologist Anthony Watts of the Heartland Institute. He’s been studying the weather and the climate in general for a very long time. He travels around the country inspecting meteorological equipment and studies historical weather data from around the world. One of the first findings he would like the public to be aware of is that not only are wildfires common in many parts of North America, but the reality is that in the 21st century, they have actually been less numerous than they were in the past. They’re just getting more attention from the press and on social media.

That’s not the shocking part of the story, however. When discussing the “modest warming” that the planet has exhibited, there is a need to have solid data. But as Dr. Watts has examined weather stations around the country, he has discovered that the available data may be nearly useless when attempting to quantify very slight changes in average temperatures. That’s because more than 90% of the data is “corrupted.” And the reason for that is the reality that the vast majority of thermometers that NOAA relies on are improperly installed and maintained, leading to the recording of artificially higher temperatures.

I have some great news for the USA:

Australia has just blown up its largest coal-fired power station, cos you know...global warming.

But of course, as one of the largest producers in the world of clean, black coal, we cannot use it for our own energy needs, but we can export it to China, cos you know....they are a 'developing nation' and coal burnt in China produces less emissions.

And now...drumroll please....Australia has committed to a 43 percent cut in emissions by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. At a time when electricity prices are going through the roof, with a 50 percent increase over the past 24 months.

So why is this great news for the USA I hear you ask?

Because thanks to the socialist-green government of Australia, the USA is now only the second most idiotic country on the planet!

Sweden Shocks Europe: Abandons 'Unstable' Green Energy Agenda, Returns to Nuclear Power

That’s right, climate loons. Sweden just dealt a severe blow to the globalist climate agenda by scraping its green energy targets. In a statement announcing the new policy in the Swedish Parliament, Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson warned that the Scandinavian nation needs “a stable energy system.”

Svantesson said wind and solar power are too “unstable” to meet the nation’s energy requirements. Instead, she said, the Swedish government is shifting back to nuclear power and has scrapped its goal of a “100 percent renewable energy” supply to meet the nation’s energy requirement, as reported by Slay.

Meanwhile in the real world where people don’t have their heads shoved firmly in the sand…

Roundy, do your thing.  Your body, your rules.  Why not leave others in peace with their gas stoves, SUVs, and reasonable carbon footprints?

Btw a 14 year

old Swedish girl who runs the global warming platform for the world says you’re dead already.

Maybe address what I posted?

Like I said. Head firmly in the sand.

FWIW, I believe you should be able to own whatever car you want, but if it's over 4,000 pounds you pay an extra tax every single year and you need a special license to operate it. No more wine drunk old ladies mowing down cyclists in their Escalades.
