Sadly no numbers here. But that and the recent "60 minutes" where an inventor can turn plant tissue into energy indicate there are some interesting advancements coming down the pike. I wonder how long the pike is?

It's not as efficient as it seems. The initial energy costs to set up are high.
Hedge Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Flashback to an article from 1989: A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.
Rob's House Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that Democrats don't believe in man-made global warming theory.

What?!? Of course they do. There's CONSENSUS, for God's sake! The only way to combat this terror is to completely transform our society into a socialist utopia where the rich pay for everything, and those unwilling to work are set for life! If we don't radically redistribute the world's wealth immediately, we're all going to, like, you know, like, totally, like, actually, literally, like, die!

Our single stream recycling bin is disgusting; can’t imagine what it looks like by the time it gets to China and the milk carton is covered in mold. I remember the early days of recycling when you bundled newspapers (now replaced with cardboard thanks to Amazon) and carefully rinsed bottles/cans. Maybe we need to go back to those days instead of thinking we can recycle anything.
