Talk about using the smallest thing to point to large scale disaster. The "significant warming" that is pointed out in the article is one that is on a small scale with 100% wind energy production (we know this to be improbable). Even then the affect is significantly smaller than our current waste heat production of fossil fuels.

B-Man
If you had any doubts that climate change ‘science’ is and always has been about politics this thread will put those doubts to rest. What a crock of weepy, sanctimonious, green-penis garbage from this so-called ‘visiting scholar’ on how capitalism must be dismantled or else the planet will destroy itself and we’re all going to die. Or something. Quote Eric Holthaus ✔@EricHolthaus If you are wondering what you can do about climate change: The world's top scientists just gave rigorous backing to systematically dismantle capitalism as a key requirement to maintaining civilization and a habitable planet. I mean, if you are looking for something to do. So, the world’s top climate scientists (who have gotten this climate change stuff wrong time and time again) have given us 10 years before our planet is uninhabitable. Remember over a decade ago when Al Gore told us we’d all be under water by now? That the ice caps would be gone and polar bears would all be dead? Good times. BUT here’s the kicker, not only do they want us to give up plastic straws (eye roll) but now they want us to dismantle capitalism. Don’t make that face, we didn’t write it. Eric Holthaus ✔@EricHolthaus And the solutions can help eliminate extreme poverty and the roots of systemic oppression. Long-standing problems, like climate change, are all symptoms of the same bigger problem. We are in the early days of bringing about a post-capitalist society. Because we have to. 11:15 PM - Oct 8, 2018 No, no we don’t. https://twitchy.com/samj-3930/2018/10/09/were-all-gonna-die-for-real-this-time-climate-change-sjws-thread-calling-to-dismantle-capitalism-is-all-the-lulz/

TakeYouToTasker
It's always been about advancing a globalist single state, operating under the guise of socialism, but rather designed to create a permanent elite over-overclass (read: monarchy) siphoning off the rest of us. Always. This is correct although the form of elite over-class could be argued. Monarchy? Commie? Corporate? Robber Barons? Pick from that list or any of 1000 other categories of people that think they are smarter/better than everyone and thus entitled to rule. The funniest is if they were actually smart and honest, they would realize that capitalism is by far more likely to resolve any real, fake or exaggerated climate issues than any other economic system ever imagined. Some of these people are smart and I do believe that some are honest, but both?.....that is a rarity. Some of the smart ones are not well rounded in their expertise.
