Surprised no one has brought up cows again. Methane is far worse than CO2 when it comes to global warming.

So do your best to help save the planet - go vegan, or eat insects instead of beef.

Or just eat all the cows.

everything is horrible and contributes to the destruction of the universe

when it's so horrible every stinking day of their lives, why don't all these tree-huggers kill themselves?

LAKE SUPERIOR DRYING UP DUE TO CLIMATE CHANGE! NO, WAIT…

Today’s Minneapolis Star Tribune headlines: “Lake Superior is near record high and threatening shoreline.” The lake is within two inches of its highest recorded level, and the consequences are dire:

{SNIP}

But wait! Just a few short years ago, we were told that Lake Superior was drying up, as water levels were, for a while, below average. What caused the level of the Great Lakes to fall? Climate change, of course. And low levels, like high levels, are bad.

National Geographic: “Climate Change and Variability Drive Low Water Levels on the Great Lakes.”

The National Resources Defense Council: “Climate change is lowering Great Lakes water levels.”

It’s no secret that, partially due to climate change, the water levels in the Great Lakes are getting very low.

The U.N’s IPCC: “[T]he following lake level declines could occur: Lake Superior -0.2 to -0.5 m.”

Dick Durbin: “What we are seeing in global warming is the evaporation of our Great Lakes.”

In the world of climate “science,” there is no penalty for being wrong. It would be nice, however, if reporters were to notice now and then.

Lake levels fluctuating is clearly the result of climate change. #liberalmindset

No

you eat more beef. the more you eat the less cows there are

Eating green foods limits CO2 "consumption"

It never ceases to amuse me that the environmentalists have adopted the fundamentalist Christian dogma of a nature being static and unchanging.

Hell, with the baseline they measure climate on, they're pretty close to believing in a 5000 year old world.

I've said it before, climate change will lead to more migrations north. All those Puerto Ricans moving to Florida! Wow. Maybe a million of them. All voters

Don't it turn your red states blue....

That's awesome because commies take great care of the environment.

Friends who finally got to visit their homelands formerly in the USSR told me they were on a beach and noticed small blacks flecks all over the towels and their bodies, it was the pollution from the Communist Paradise of trying to run factories in a 5th rate imitation of US basic economic knowledge.

But they SAID everything was wonderful, and morons in the US and Canada believed it 100%

Oyster flatulence worries climate scientists

https://www.euractiv.com/section/climate-environment/news/oyster-flatulence-worries-climate-scientists/

Plans to expand aquatic farming could have a serious knock-on effect on climate change, climate experts have warned after new research revealed that underwater shellfish farts produce 10% of the global-warming gases released by the Baltic Sea.

A study published in the
journal shows that clams, mussels and oysters produce one-tenth of methane and nitrous oxide gases in the Baltic Sea as a result of digestion. Therefore, researchers have warned that shellfish “may play an important but overlooked role in regulating greenhouse gas production”.

Methane and nitrous oxide gases have a far greater warming potential than carbon dioxide so bodies of water without or with fewer shellfish record lower methane release rates.

Of course the oysters themselves aren’t to blame. Human beings are the real culprits because oysters can’t pay taxes or give out grants for studies of their farting.

I'm doing my part - I consume a dozen Oysters every two weeks or so.

BUT THE NARRATIVE! ...................................Global temperature continues to cool.

Well, you see, a consensus of climate scientists have agreed that the man made cow farts that, quite soon, are going to destroy the Earth's biosphere are simply hiding somewhere were we have not yet bothered to look, just waiting for an opportune moment to strike by radically increasing temperatures within the next 1,000 years unless we all come together, pay India and China not to pollute, sing Kumbaya and make sure the scientists receive billions in federal grants to continue to communicate their findings.

1.) I don't know any scientist that says man has caused global warming. Only that man-made contributions have accelerated the process over the last several decades. This is a universally accepted paradigm.

2.) It's interesting that the biggest critics of that paradigm and those spending the biggest dollars in the campaign against it are the very industries that contribute the most in terms of man's contribution to problem.

3.) Please learn the difference between weather and climate.

No intelligent person, anywhere on this planet, "denies" climate change in 2017.

It's a uniquely !@#$ed up American thing, like thinking every citizen and his brother should own an assault rifle.

Only in America.
