Augie Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 I'd LOVE to work at Mighty Taco. You know, for a couple shifts... Do they pay millions/year? It might take that to eat there daily. I suspect issues might arise.
A Dog Named Kelso Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Ha ha, so true. These guys don't exactly land on their feet! Jauron & Gailey disappeared, Mularky failed again, Gregg Williams wanted to kill people and Marrone is, well Marrone. A lot of teams lose their coaches to other football jobs. The Bills lose their coaches to Mighty Taco. Mularky, Jauron and Willaims had some success as Coordinators. Mularky really didn't get a chance the second time.
ganesh Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Gailey - offensive system Mularkey ran a pretty good offense. Gailey is the only coach who has got production out of a running back who should have made the pro bowl 4 times by now. The way this coaching staff, yeah Hackett I'm looking at you, has used CJ is baffling. Gailey also could not figure otu a way to use Marshawn Lynch, who has been to the Probowl pretty much every year with the Seahawks....Just Saying.,,,,

That is a little mind blowing in itself. The running theme the last 14 years is every new head coach can't figure out how to best utilize the current players on the roster, so they draft to fit the schemes they want to run. Just recently Jauron to George Edwards meant a 4-3 to a 3-4, and Wannstedt back to a 4-3. Meanwhile during that entire 14 span the team never found their franchise QB. Mostly because they were to busy drafting DB's, RB's, WR's, and anything but QB's or O linemen.

He should have brought someone in initially who was a 4-3 guy, probably pushed to keep Fewell. The problem at the time was not Defense which is why they went for an offensive minded coach. I can just imagine how much better the Gailey teams would have been had Fewell been retained as DC.
Chilly Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Most overuse of a single word of the English language? I vote Marrone, obviously.
metzelaars_lives Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Chan gailey is the only one of these men that was even remotely likeable.
GunnerBill Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Chan gailey is the only one of these men that was even remotely likeable. Indeed, as a man Gailey was a class act and he had some moments as a coach... but not enough sadly.
QB Bills Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Also, don't forget about the Perry Fewell era.
The Real Buffalo Joe Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Also, don't forget about the Perry Fewell era. Sadly, he was the best head coach this century.
