I am not a Whaley apologist, he is off to a Donahoe-esque start which could go either way fast.........but if Sammy hadn't aggrivated that groin injury in the week of practice following the bye they win the last two games and things look a lot different. That's both props to him for acquiring a player with the ability of Sammy Watkins.....head and shoulders the best WR in a loaded class.......and an indictment of Whaley for trading away his talented but screwy #1 WR for a bag of balls and replacing him with an even bigger head case and subsequently being left with a very inexperienced cast of WR's who are proving unprepared to step up to the plate with Sammy hobbled.

Spare me the 14 years crap this staff is building a good deep team. Maybe we don't make the playoffs this year but unless your just an unhappy person it would be hard to feel like they aren't assembling a talented roster. The "new" coach gets 1 1/2 years and we want to switch again- that is exactly what bad teams do....let's stop being a bad team.
