tedstrong Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Stretch the field. It occurs to me that we are built similarly...speed at receiver and strong defense. Alternately run and have the receivers sell out long, then rely on the defense to hold tough and get the ball back. I know the line is suspect but Orton does have a decent arm, and why have all this speed if we are going to just dink and dunk.
Rubes Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Bill from NYC's offense? Speaking of which...where is Bill these days? No "Few Thoughts" the past couple of games...
CardinalScotts Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 How many of those Raider offensive lineman were great...currently we have none
Cash Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I think that actually is our offense. We run 4 verticals about 10 times a game, and most of the other plays I see broken down on all-22 have at least two fly patterns in them. I personally think it's a contributing factor to our red zone struggles - our whole offense is based on sending WRs deep to stretch the field vertically, and that can't be done in the red zone.
