sodbuster Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 My bet is Tuesday night! Man, I hope so. Wednesday is my day off, and I have a final exam in Brockport on Monday night at 6:30.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 So all it takes is 9 feet of snow to get the Bills a primetime game....got it CBF
CodeMonkey Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 when? Giants play there Sunday Double header, Giants at 1 and Jets at 4
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 @ChrisTrapasso #Bills source: "team won't give up revenue that a home game makes unless compensated well. Expect Monday night game as first alternative."
Big C Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I work Monday night. They better not do Monday night. Sunday or Tuesday please.
Fingon Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Except for the fact that it is the Bills and the Jets playing the game. So? People will watch regardless of which teams are playing. Holding the game on Tuesday allows the NFL to broadcast the game nationally, where as if it's held Monday night it can only be televised in Buffalo and NYC.

26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 @RapSheet Now, the two options for #Bills-#Jets in the event the game is moved are Washington and Detroit, I’m told.

26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 Steve Tasker just said on Sports Radio 1270 that the chatter at CBS is that the game will be played on Tuesday at RWS.

nucci Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Steve Tasker just said on Sports Radio 1270 that the chatter at CBS is that the game will be played on Tuesday at RWS. CBS probably doesn't want to pack up and move elsewhere.
Dorkington Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I'd be ok with Washington, DC But, I'd rather the Bills not lose a home game... Make it Monday or Tuesday at RWS, NFL!

PastaJoe Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 As a goodwill gesture, the Pegulas will charter jets for fans to go to the game.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Now I wonder what time the game would be at CBF
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 @ChrisTrapasso Update from #Bills source: "it looks like Detroit is the leading destination for the game on Monday night."
swimtoga Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 Come on DC! I've heard you soft B***hes on TV and I am pretty sure I can single handily give them more of a home field advantage if they play it in DC. Don't bother writing anything back, I'm wicked tough and can bench 800lbs .
26CornerBlitz Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 Extra days have helped Jets vs. Bills before We noted in this very blog in the past about how the Jets have benefited from extra time and rest in advance of playing the Bills in the past. In both 2011 and 2013 the Jets faced the Bills with 10 days prep coming off a Thursday night game and two weeks prep off their bye week in those two seasons. This year the NFL may have done its best job yet of giving Buffalo a favorable schedule when it came to opponents coming off a short week or coming off their bye. This week was going to be somewhat of a wash between the two teams with the Bills having 10 days to prepare for the Jets coming off their Thursday night game while the Jets came off their bye. That all changed with the lake effect snowstorm this week that shattered all snowfall record totals in Orchard Park and neighboring suburbs as well as the city of Buffalo. Now heading into Friday with the Bills yet to rep plays on a practice field the Jets clearly have an edge in terms of prep time heading into the game. And under Rex Ryan New York has fared well against the Bills in those situations. Bills Thursday injury report With the Bills not practicing for a second straight day due to the persistent lake effect snowstorm, which hit Orchard Park hard again Thursday, their injury report remains unchanged from Wednesday.
