FireChan Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 No. Let me count a few reasons why - very very inconsistent - whiny , blame-everything-else attitude - winless against major division opponent Packers - one playoff appearance - to many iINTs Winless against major division opponents? Sounds like he'll fit right in.
Fan in Chicago Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Winless against major division opponents? Sounds like he'll fit right in. My office guys now admit I was right about recommending that the Bears not keep him.
Dorkington Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 I'm not sure if he's a significant improvement over Orton, at least with that contract anyways.. I wouldn't be mad if they did it though, depends on what we give up.

I would rather have Orton, keep a draft pick, take that 16 million which Cutler would cost and improve in other areas like the o-line. In the hypothetical either or scenario, there is only one choice that makes sense to me anyways. Edited December 7, 2014 by BuffaloBillsForever
SACTOBILLSFAN Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Cutler is a coach killer. I want absolutely no part of him in any way. If you think otherwise you've never watched him play.
BillnutinHouston Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Cutler is not good. Despite that, he's not a fit as Bills QB.
BackInDaDay Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) Orton played like Cutler today.. and looked satisfied after the game, just like Jay would Edited December 8, 2014 by BackInDaDay
Georgia Bill Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Cutler = Orton +/- a negligible difference. Why bother?
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 no no no no no and no to Hoyer, and or Sanchez and or Tebow
rumblefish Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 are these the same folks who wanted cam newton
Rico Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 are these the same folks who wanted cam newton No, they are the same ones who loved Drew Bledsoe & want Ryan Mallett.... doesn't matter how brain-dead the chump is as long as he has a gun for an arm.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 could be, and maybe even RGIII, Colt McCoy and the other nobody in DC
Buffalo_Stampede Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 (edited) I laugh at Bills fans that say no thanks to Cutler. Cutler added to THIS team would be huge. Add a couple veteran OGs and you have a playoff team. I can be talked out of RG3 and Bradford, but Cutler is a good get. Edited December 9, 2014 by TheTruthHurts
Fixxxer Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Lets find some endorsing words from a former teammate of his “If your quarterback can’t make plays in certain situations for you to win games, he’s not getting the job done.” With $54 million guaranteed, Cutler undoubtedly is being paid to get the job done. “Financially, he is one of the elite guys in the NFL,” Urlacher said. “You look at his contract, he was paid like an elite quarterback. . . . He just hasn’t produced like an elite quarterback. You look at the Bradys, the Mannings, the Rodgerses, the Breeses. Those guys win every year. Even with no one around them. [Aaron] Rodgers has no offensive line, he wins. [Tom] Brady has no receivers, he wins. “You look at Jay, he’s got Brandon [Marshall], Alshon [Jeffery], Matt [Forte] and a great offensive line, Martellus Bennett and they can’t seem to put it together for some reason. I’m not sure if it’s his fault, but for some reason they can’t seem to figure it out.” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/23/urlacher-say-cutler-isnt-getting-the-job-done/

Fixxxer Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Urlacher loved Orton. So, he is lying about Cutler?
Buffalo_Stampede Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 So, he is lying about Cutler? Just saying, if we care what he thinks then we have a QB already.
