That was an amazing juke by Miller. I don't know if it's ironic that it happened to Mckelvin, but I won't deny that I got some pleasure out of seeing it.

No one in the NFL should ever guarantee a victory. May the Leodis Mckelvin story be a warning to all those big-mouths in the league.

I don't think you know what "literally" means

Well, yes, he does.

The kind of juke Miller made is often referred to as an "ankle breaker", but usually the term is used figuratively.

Miller's juke was an "ankle breaker", but the term applied literally this time.

I know a lot of people don't like Leodis.

I always feel compelled to defend the guy. He works hard, seems like a good teammate, and is a lot better than some give him credit for.

We are going to miss him.

Agree with all of this. He's the quintessential teammate. Will do whatever he's asked and not gripe.

All you McKelvin Haters, guess you got what you wanted..who says you can't will the future!

Does everybody have Haters here?

Maybe they can bring in a left footed punter, can never have too many utility guys!

seriously, we are the only team in the NFL with a kick off specialist, Marrone is just an ahole. how about you make the playoffs or heck post a winning record you idiot before you try and show the NFL you are smarter then they are.

Sorry about McKelvin.

I'll have to watch it again. On the replay it looked like McKelvin ran to his left and tried to cut back to his right, but his left foot had no traction at all while his right foot was completely anchored. It looked like very bad luck as much as anything.

I swear as I watched I was thinking he was going to do a split and tear his groin, then he twisted and I thought he was going to blow out his knee, then he collapsed and the torque went all the way down to his ankle and I thought he might have escaped serious harm.

I feel bad for Leodis, who was having a very good year. For the Bills, it's a huge loss.

He got embarassed on that play

CBF

wow

Ugh. Big talker before game...

wow

I'll stop there, reading more of the thread will probably sadden me too much. A guy broke a bone in his ankle & that's the response? Unbelievable.

Roasted? Then he was simply picking up where Leodis left off...

Leodis can play. Is he great? No. But he's a good football player. More athletic than a good many. He's improved since he's been in the league, always plays with passion, does whatever he's asked by the team, never hear him complain, and doesn't even fire back at jack-ass fans who paint foolishness on his property.

The Bills will miss him on the field. There's no doubt about it.

He does play with passion, which is fine. But many who play much better than him do so without all the "look at me" stuff. I don't believe anyone here is happy he's injured. But his play has been over-hyped by some here all year. He was not playing well in this game before he was injured. I think Graham, given the steady starting spot, will be as good.
