Gisele Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I've got a feeling Miami is going to kill us using the read option. Got a glimpse with KC last week and we didn't defend it well. Tannehill is a very good athlete and this may be something they can exploit.

Tannehill is a very good athlete and this may be something they can exploit. I disagree. The Bills D has contained mobile QBs as well as anyone. Vick got very little, Alex Smith (other than the one TD) didn't really hurt us running.

They tried it last time from the spread package and we blew it up each time--including for a 3-yard loss on a 4th-and-1 when Tannehill kept the ball (using Searcy as a spy). The biggest problem with the zone read last week was Manny Lawson failing to hold the edge...perhaps next time we don't rush Mario off the field in critical situations.
