I agree the Bills have had Miami's number lately but I'm not sure about being the better team by more than a sliver at best. We view this Bills club as pretty good, however, I still hear national media talking about the Bills as if they are a very mediocre team. Some this weekend were talking about how the Raiders only win might be over Buffalo in December. I heard that on two separate programs that were talking about Oakland being winless.

The Bills own Tanney-hotwife until proven otherwise. I'm not a big gambler but the Bills are the better team, playing angry, against a QB who has night terrors of charging Buffaloes -- give me the Bills all day long.

Plus a rookie LT playing on a short prep week, while the Bills had time to gameplan some for Miami last week.

I am just waiting for the moneyline, no need for the points on this one fellas.

The lines mean nothing...they are simply generated to get even money on both sides

arghhhhh...NO THEY ARE NOT!!!!!!!!!!! Christ this drives me nuts. Read this article

http://espn.go.com/e...crushed-week-11

First couple sentences of the article:

Count Las Vegas sportsbooks among those displeased with Jay Cutler.

The Green Bay Packers' 55-14 blowout of Cutler and the Chicago Bears capped the worst Sunday of the NFL season for Las Vegas sportsbooks.

An hour before kickoff, the MGM sportsbook had taken eight times more money on the Packers than on the underdog Bear

The lines are a reflection of popular opinion. The mantra in gambling is that you always ride the trend. While the Bills have beaten the Dolphins recently, the larger trend is that he Bills are a franchise that will find a way to screw up and have for 14 years. That won change until the Bills make the playoffs a few times.

Or more accurately, the market. The market-- the public-- perceives the Dolphins as better. Like a Ruth's steak as opposed to Outback is perceived as better and costs more. Here, it costs your more-- in say a money line-- to make the same amount of money betting on the Dolphins as opposed to the Bills. As with all markets, it is at bottom just opinion, but the opinion more people hold.

Of course they mean something. They reflect the perceived quality of each team as dictated in a real market where people are putting up real money to back their opinions and where big bettors are doing serious research to form those opinions. All simple supply and demand, which in turn puts the world in equilibrium. Capitalism at its finest.

And rightfully so. After that pathetic performance yesterday, I wouldn't put the Bills as favorites against anybody.

The performance was hardly pathetic. The outcome certainly.

Speaking of raiders, bills are like them in not being able to hold a late lead at home by fumbling it away. That's what crappy teams do.
