RuntheDamnBall Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 A friend of mine guaranteed that the Pats are going to go 3-13 next year with the loss of two of their architects of success. I think that's wishful thinking, but Belicheck has never had this kind of success without the support of Crennell and Weis. Who knows -- likely Belicheck has seen this moment coming for awhile and has had successors waiting in the wings. Perhaps, just like personnel changes in the roster, the coaching changes will come without a missed beat. Here's hoping otherwise. What do you all think? By the way, go Eagles!

Fartacus Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Werent Weis and Crennel the coordinators of the 2000 5-11 team? And the 2002 9-7 team?
Grant Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 A friend of mine guaranteed that the Pats are going to go 3-13 next year with the loss of two of their architects of success. 224901 I would bet everything I have on the Patriots not going 3-13, if I were you!

He's my best friend, anyway. I couldn't live with taking money from the guy on a sucker bet like that.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 1, 2005 Author Posted February 1, 2005 A bump, and... jesus, five people think the Pats are going to bite it in '05. I wish I was that confident.
mead107 Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 who cares how bad they do , we will kick ass next year
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 1, 2005 Author Posted February 1, 2005 who cares how bad they do , we will kick ass next year 225018 I hope you're right. It has just seemed that the Pats have been above and beyond the rest of the league for the past few years. I don't think we'd be wrong to hope for a little chemistry disruption and downfall.
Ray Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 Pats will have an off year and go 11-5. Hard to believe that is an "off" year. But after two consecutive SB trips )possible wins) and 17-2 seasons an 11-5 record is an off year.
