4merper4mer Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I know Lamb had a touchdown catch today but it is simply ridiculous to have him in a role that clearly belongs to Mike Williams. Williams is a big red zone threat and has a history of making tough catches in tight spots. Instead we get Raggedy Andy out there trying to do something he can't. It makes no sense at all and hurt our team. Other than Greggo Marrone's fragile ego, what could it have possibly helped?
Bangarang Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'm over the entire Mike Williams saga. Clearly, for whatever reasons, Marrone does not want Williams to be apart of his offense.

I don't want Marrone to be part of this team. And he can take Hackett with him. Mike Williams stays. When is Terry hiring that consultant, anyway?

Or Stevie, Or Urbik, or for a while Dareus? Who's next I wonder. Better not wear a funny t-shirt because I coach prefers losing to anything that may penetrate his thinnnnnnn skin.

When is Terry hiring that consultant, anyway? And maybe Lamb too. I have nothing against him as some sort of fill in and it is a nice story, but Williams is worlds better as a player and Goodwin has much more potential, not that Marrone could ever figure out how to use it. Sort of like CJ.
Arkady Renko Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Why does this have to be a Chris Hogan v. Mike Williams thing? It shouldn't be too hard to get both on the field.

Sort of like CJ. I'd keep Hogan over Goodwin. The guy is fragile. And with Sammy hurting, Williams should have been activated. Dumb.
