Kirby Jackson Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Today's loss was devastating and really hinders the playoff chances. With that being said this place has gotten ridiculous. There are threads about firing this guy, cutting that guy, and castrating that guy. If Brown or McKelvin don't fumble or if Chandler falls on that fumble everyone has a completely different outlook. The margin for error is gone and the Bills need to win 5 of their last 7. Obviously this isn't ideal but they did get some help today. If they win the next 3 they need to win 2 of their last 4. It's possible that week 17 May be meaningless for New England. If the Bills get to 10 wins they still have a decent shot. The overreaction and MMQBing on here is out of control. Let's let these next 3 games play out before running everyone out of town.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Do I think anyone should be fired because of today's loss: No Do I think any players should be cut or benched because of today: No Do I think it's justified to be angry today because this game pretty much kills out playoff chances: yes.

The Bills are still finding ways to lose instead of win. Next 3 games truly are must win if the playoffs are to be even a possibility in December. But I am not at all believing a team that dumped today's game can win the next 3 or go 2-2 in December. It's sad but par for the course in Billsland.

Ha ha, perfectly played You've been around long enough to know that this was coming after this kind of loss. I know and I took it as bad as anyone. The overreaction is out of control though. They did get some help today and need to win the next 3 but the season isn't over.

To get to 10 wins, they would have to sweep Miami, Jets and Browns, then take 2 of last 4; 3 of which are on the road; 3 of which are against Broncos, NE, GB. It's worth mentioning those details. This should have been a sure win.

YoloinOhio Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) Gotta be honest, nothing could bring me down from the buckeye victory last night. I'm too happy. Bills played well, lost a close one, squish the fish and move on!!! Edited November 10, 2014 by YoloinOhio

The Bills have yet to beat an elite QB this year (unless you count a Megatron-less Stafford).
TheFunPolice Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 trust in St. Doug He is too stubborn to blow this thing... they will win Thursday!

Our conference record is absolutely terrible and could very well be the deciding factor in the WC race.
BuffOrange Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Relax. Great message when you have Aaron Rodgers. Not so much in our case. Season is over before Thanksgiving. Again.

I think what stings (and leads to over-reaction) is that this is yet another game where the Bills outplayed their opponent and lost due to either bizarrely freaking bad luck, or mind-boggling unforced mistakes. To think that the Chiefs can celebrate after getting dominated today is what eats at me.

Kirby Jackson Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 NE never takes off week 17. The Bills have yet to beat an elite QB this year (unless you count a Megatron-less Stafford). Again, not likely but they are a game out of the playoffs (not 5). The Bengals are going to lose to New Orleans next weekend, the Bills could knock off the Dolphins and KC has Seattle. They can remain right in the hunt with a win Thursday. The margin for error is small (or gone) but they still are alive. They need to win 5 games and will be he favorite in 3 of them.

Let's let these next 3 games play out before running everyone out of town. I actually thought there was a lot of positives to take out of today's game: 1. Our defense is simply sick. 2. NH finally called some run plays that were somewhat more creative. 3. We managed to get the Brown involved in the passing game (which should've been done with Spiller) 4. Most important: The pass protection was phenomenal considering Orton was only sacked 1 time vs. a team ranked near the top in sacks. We lost this game due to the screw-ups of two players: Brown and McKelvin. Simple as that. This isn't rocket science. There's no need to look into something that's not there. Brown and McKelvin lost us the game. End of story. Move on.

Oak, Jets......Fins? Browns?
