BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 We win Thursday night and he gets a pick and good return . I`ll hear what a great vet he`s turned into. C`mon. He`s not that bad. Yeah I just can't wait to hear murphy after that...
harv shitz Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Watch a tape of the Bears game, or the Pats game, and then come on and tell me "how not bad he is." He IS that bad, and we need an upgrade there if we are to improve. He gets beat way more than he makes plays.
Chimp Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I remember when he had a giant dick spray painted on his lawn after costing us a prime time game in Foxboro with a late game kickoff return fumble. We are discussing punt returns here good sir. Clearly an entirely different animal, hence the need for Glass Goodwin...that is all.
BackInDaDay Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 McKelvin seems to display good judgement on his returns, but ball security should have been job number one on that return. If your returner has just come off an intense series playing defense, you make sure he gets that message before he heads back
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 He lacks break away speed and moves.....watch some Devin Hester tapes Yes, we should be complaining because our punt returner is not up to par as the greatest punt returner of all time? You do realize that that is equal to complaining that Scott Chandler doesn't have the ability of Gronk or Jimmy Graham.
CardinalScotts Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 wow we are sure trying to find a way to blame coaching....McKelvin is a good punt returner
Nick the Greek Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 He lacks break away speed and moves.....watch some Devin Hester tapes ok so in order to be a good return man we need to compare his to the all time best? All teams return men suck in that case
ALLEN1QB Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Every time I see him back there I remember the fumble he had that cost us a win against the Patriots and he did it again.
QB Bills Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 He hasn't been a good returner for a couple of years now. His longest return last year was like 17 yards if I remember correctly. More importantly though, he's one of the stupidest players to ever wear a Bills uniform. He calls for fair catches at times when there's no need to. The guy has physical tools, but is just not someone you can count on.
Thunderstealer Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Hard for me to accept Leodis not putting ball security as #1 priority in that position--damn hard to understand that .
BackInDaDay Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Hard for me to accept Leodis not putting ball security as #1 priority in that position--damn hard to understand that . because his defensive unit had just made another intense stop, and he was all amped up to continue making plays. he shouldn't be back there at all - not because of that fumble - because we can't afford to lose a starting CB. obviously, he's proven to the coaches that he's the most capable return man they have, but having your returner next to you on the sideline before sending him out to field the punt, would give a coach a chance to impress upon him what you want right there
mannc Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Watching a replay of the McKelvin fumble last night . . . Does anyone else think he was horse-collared? Sure looked like it to me, and the horse collar seemed to cause the fumble. Looked like another missed call.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 McLovin or CJ (if he wasn't injured) He fumbled the ball which was bad. He isn't the first or last player to do it. lets not throw him under the bus for this one a mistake.
