Mike Willams questions

Hard to say. In earlier games he was hitting those, or a few of them. He just didn't today. That happens. We still should have won. They were not simple passes.

It really is amazing looking at the game and something I think we are quick to disregard.

The Chiefs D was very good today at bending and not breaking.

We had a great game on the run, enough to win most games if you play like that. We had enough in the air not to lose in most games. But, we lost.

I think it comes down to a #s thing. Who you gonna sit in his stead? Watkins? If healthy, hell no. Woods? Maybe, though I personally like him. Hogan? Can't ask much more from him on offense plus he's a major contributor on ST, tres important w/ Easley out. Goodwin? Again, maybe, but he was now our kick returner. Plus, as I understand it, he's our designated "stretch the field" guy, which apparently is something we need/want.

Maybe your kickoff specialist...even Fred had only 3 carries today with his injury. Boobie did great. With Sammy playing hurt, like somebody else mentioned, I thought he'd see the field today. At least dress. There were a couple high passes in the end zone today (one to hogan, one to woods), that I thought, wow those are TDs, or at least have a better chance to be a TD with MW out there.

Bingo! You are right , but unfortunately it's true... Marrone does a lot of college ish stuff... Too much for an NFL coach.

Bingo again. Marrone needs to realize he is dealing with professionals who won't respond to that college stuff on a certain level. Being a disciplinarian can be good but that is different on the NFL level.

A disciplinarian is never a bad thing as long as the discipline is being imparted consistently. With the way the team reacts and plays every Sunday I have no suspicions that Marrone is doing things the wrong way.

In general, discipline is easier to take from someone you respect. Winning earns respect. We'll see how this plays out.

not for nothing, but this guy i know said his aunt's sister's platonic male friend saw mike slipping into his uniform in a bathroom stall at (716) food and drink roughly ten minutes before kickoff.

Exactly, so he should have played. What's your point?

it's called I'm in charge, winning teams do it this way -he's turning things around turn off WGR the bills are building a good team

Except he lacks the credibility or record to operate that way. He has no idea how "winning teams do it" and there is no reason for the players to have faith in him. Does that offense operate as though it has confidence in the plays being run? No, it does not. And as for Caveman Mike, by sacrificing the opportunity to have a winning advantage for the sake of proving a point, Marrone is telling his players that his own ego is more important than anything else.

Sorry, but I really dislike the guy.

What's the story with Mike Williams? He doesn't appear on the injury report but doesn't play at all, wasn't he suppose to be our redzone target? If he's so far into a doghouse that he's not going to play anymore why don't they cut him and pickup Stephan Hill off Carolina's practice squad ?

Somebody has to tell Marrone that this isn't college. We could've used Williams out there on Sunday.

Pegula should fire his sorry ass for continuing to pull this senseless, childish stunt.

I think it's a case or Orton having better chemistry with Hogen, so only a certain number of snaps to go around. Likely Williams plays next week if Goodwin is out.

And BTW, I do agree with others, Goodwin can't stay healthy to bother keeping around

I must've blinked. How the hell did "Glass" get injured????
