bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 3 losses at home to Chargers, Chief and Cheaters. One thing from watching on TV and listening on the radios that we do not seem to generate any real home field advantage with crowd noise. Every time a big third down came up it looked like people were standing however most were looking around trying to get others to holler. During the glory years home field was a major advantage but in three very critical games I did not hear it. I also felt that with Pegula purchase and the game against Pats the noise level would be immense but nope just seems like folks more interested in tailgating versus screaming,
Niagara Dude Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 This is your coaching staff, when you cannot win at home then forget about playoffs.
MarkAF43 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 So now it's the fault of the fans? The fans were loud enough. The fact is the performance of this team today killed a lot of the energy the crowd had especially with the tribute to troops and the flyover.

Plus a former bills player stated the same to him. Sure the players took the air out of sails with bad plays but in first quarter I did not see a home field advantage at all
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I was thinking about this earlier. I don't blame the fans or anything, I just think it's odd that for years and years the Bills couldn't win on the road but did a lot better at home and now it seems like the complete opposite.
BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Too many casuals, like most sport events.
MarkAF43 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Too many casuals, like most sport events. I think I'd question this. If you mean casuals like drunken 20 something's who just want to act like fools I'd say you're 100% correct. i was listening to Sal and he said sMe thing as did many callers. Plus a former bills player stated the same to him. Sure the players took the air out of sails with bad plays but in first quarter I did not see a home field advantage at all Perhaps that is the case. The area around me is always loud and into the game, I shouldn't have generalized my earlier comment.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Come on now you can't blame the fans. If the Bills NEEDED fans cheering they would be losing away games too. They've been way better on the road than they have been in previous years.
Gregthekeg Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Really now we are blaming the fans for not cheering? What a joke this board is such a bunch of wimps and excuse makers. I am done with the Bills and TBD
Dirtbag Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 What a joke this board is such a bunch of wimps and excuse makers. I am done with the Bills and TBD you're done already? after such a promising first post?
BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) Rich Stadium also holds 10 000+ less fans than it did back in its peak of the early 90's. Edited November 10, 2014 by BuffaloBillsForever
Franco_92 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 Really now we are blaming the fans for not cheering? What a joke this board is such a bunch of wimps and excuse makers. I am done with the Bills and TBD it only took 1 post!
May Day 10 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I thought the crowd was quite decent... 2nd half though everyone got that feeling of dread which deflated things a little, but still loud.
Like A Mofo Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 you're done already? after such a promising first post?

It was a struggle in my section to get people going. My uncle and I looked at eachother at the start of the Pegula speech that started with "please sit down and be quiet down". Just a warning, the FNC is notoriously one of the quietest rinks in the league.
Bubba Gump Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Bring the cheerleaders back. That's the problem. All of the drunken perverts have nothing to scream at.
