26CornerBlitz Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 @JasonLaCanfora Carson Palmer has agreed to a 3 year extension with Arizona worth $50M in total. He was set to be a free agent after 2014 season Cardinals sign Carson Palmer to 3-year, $50M contract extension
machine gun kelly Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 He's worth it as just look at this team, and he has been throwing deep to those big WR along with John Brown. i've really come to love following that team after my own as i love Bruce Arians. With their losses to suspension, free agency, and injuries, it is amazingwhat they are doing in the NFC. I'm rooting for them to make the SB and have the first home SB. If I was really dreaming, it would be the Bills on the AFC side.
filthymcnasty08 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Good for CP - Was tough to watch him lift the Bengals to the playoffs then rip that knee. Took him a while to get back with a good team/coach…Raiders are a joke. Zona not laying down for anyone.
billsfan89 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 He has played really well this year and the parts are in place to have a good run with him.
HOUSE Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I wonder how much of that contract is guaranteed ? This sounds like one of those Ryan Fitzpatrick deals
CardinalScotts Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 so they have him locked up until he's 38 ? seems like a good guy and he's played really well so far this year (5 games)
TheFunPolice Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 10-6 last year and 7-1 this year. Palmer was always a pretty good QB and now he is with one of the best coaches in the NFL. And just think: Arians is "retired" (according to the Steelers)! lol
Casey D Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 I wonder how much of that contract is guaranteed ? This sounds like one of those Ryan Fitzpatrick deals $20 M
BuffaloBillsForever Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 At least they didn't waste two first round picks on Palmer like what the Raiders did.
aristocrat Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 he signed that 100 mil contract right before he tore his knee last time. i actually like the cards too...i guess stanton will have to step up
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 What luck - reports of a torn ACL today.
Tyrod's Tailor Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 There are no guarantees in this sport, ever. Well, except that the Bills will ruin most of my fall Sundays.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 10, 2014 Author Posted November 10, 2014 This is crazy... @AdamSchefter: Carson Palmer signed $119M deal w/ Bengals Dec. 29, 2005; tore ACL 10 days later. Palmer signed $50M deal Fri; AZ fears he tore ACL today.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 11, 2014 Author Posted November 11, 2014 @AlbertBreer The $20.5M guarantee in Carson Palmer's deal becomes fully guaranteed five days after the Super Bowl. He's already been paid $10M of it. 'I cried like a baby' Carson Palmer's season is suddenly over after suffering a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the Rams. The Cardinals QB said he became emotional while processing the news Sunday night
Captain Hindsight Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Palmer and the Cards were a great story, hope he gets well soon
