GG Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 He will be active in running water bottles on and off the field during timeouts. If he can move that fast, then he should be in the line up.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 @ChrisTrapasso IMO, Erik Pears has been the #Bills most noticeable OL weak spot this season. Kouandjio = better fit at RG right now than on the edge. Chris Trapasso = Captain Obvious.
John from Riverside Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 What will be really funny is if he gets into the game and actually plays well at RG.....will people a. Be happy because our OG position might be fixed or b. Mad that he hasnt moved moved to OG....and playing sooner
Rubes Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 If we really have two rookies playing the right side, I fully expect to see overload blitzes and/or stunts on that side on every single play.
Mango Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 What will be really funny is if he gets into the game and actually plays well at RG.....will people a. Be happy because our OG position might be fixed or b. Mad that he hasnt moved moved to OG....and playing sooner I don't see these things as mutually exclusive. See Urbik. We are all happy to see him back out there and as an upgrade, also all angry it took about half the season to figure it out.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 @JoeBuscaglia By the way it sounded from Doug Marrone today, it might be the first game Cyrus Kouandjio is active this season. #Bills Cyrus Kouandjio said he got some work with the first team this week at right guard. #Bills #Bills Kouandjio asked if he felt like he'd see some time on the field this week: "You never know, we'll see."
zow2 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Word that Sammy is iffy and now Kouandjio might be starting...ugh. this game is starting to feel like a big L to me. I see KC coming in confident like Cleveland was last night in Cinci. We haven't played very well in our last 3 home games.
TheBillsWillRiseAgain Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Word that Sammy is iffy and now Kouandjio might be starting...ugh. this game is starting to feel like a big L to me. I see KC coming in confident like Cleveland was last night in Cinci. We haven't played very well in our last 3 home games. I'm sure Marrone is hoping that's how the Chiefs feel too. They're not going to know what to do when Sammy ends up playing and has 2 TDs and 150+ yards on them Sunday.
Dirtbag Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 If Kouandjio is in the game--at either guard or tackle--Orton better get rid of the ball very, very quickly. to be safe, he should just drop kick the ball every down.
Not at the table Karlos Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Ok if CK is ready to play at G... Why would you not put him at LG and then Urbik back to his regular spot at RG? Then at least you don't have two rookies next to each other. Amirite? yes. This would make the most sense
Deranged Rhino Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Chris Trapasso channeling his inner GreggyT, I see... I'd buy him a drink if I could! (Trapasso, not Pears.)
GG Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 yes. This would make the most sense But he practices exclusively at RG.
Gray Beard Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 My one complaint about Orton is that he occasionally loses track of the time and gets sacked when he should just throw the ball away. Maybe this will be the wake-up call he needs to stop doing that.
TC in St. Louis Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 CK was a great college player who needs development and training to get to the next level. I'm sure they've been working him like a dog all year, maybe he's ready to knock some people down. It's more of a coaching/learning thing, mental, if you will. He's got the physical size and ability to be a very good starting offensive lineman. He was projected to go as high as middle first round in the draft.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 2nd rounder actually contributes ? I like the sound of this. Unlesh the cujo, benching hopefully turned him into a man.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 @MatthewFairburn It sounds like #Bills rookie Cyrus Kouandjio is starting to push for a starting job at guard: http://ow.ly/DZnCc
klos63 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 (edited) Can't get any worse yes it can, but let's hope it doesn't Edited November 7, 2014 by klos63
NoSaint Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 @MatthewFairburn It sounds like #Bills rookie Cyrus Kouandjio is starting to push for a starting job at guard: http://ow.ly/DZnCc If true, is it an indictment on the staff for waiting til October to even try it a little
