thewildrabbit Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Good stuff as Mayock mentions Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, Houston's center Chris Myers, and our very own Fredex !! http://now.nfl.com/browse/113 There is also a video of Sammy, and according to Mayock Watkins has already exceeded expectations. Like I said, good stuff.
26CornerBlitz Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Mayock's Slant: Most underrated offensive player The video also highlights Fred as an underrated player.
yabuddy Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Wonder if this is the game where Reid starts using Kelce more. The guy is dangerous. The guy catches screen passes and out of the flats and just makes defenders miss one on one.
The Voice of Truth Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Throw Robert Woods in there. His production has not yet shown is capability. I think he has the potential to be an animal. Great route runner. Mean. Fiery competitor. High level athleticism even for NFL standards. Can play multiple WR spots. Watkins and Woods were two great draft picks.
1B4IDie Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Fred jackson is a Top 5 RB in the NFL, and has been for the last 5 years. Just because he isn't pedigreed doesn't mean he isn't better than backs with a bigger name. He is a better runner, blocker, pass catcher and leader than almost any RB in the league. You can't even put Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, and LeSean McCoy in the top 5 anymore.

It's really a shame that GMs kept trying to draft high round guys to replace him and Fred had to be second fiddle until the coaching staff finally figured out he was better than the guy they drafted. Had he been a high draft choice and had the EXACT same production as he has nobody would have ever tried to replace him and he would have gotten more carries. The benefit of all this is that because he's split time he's got to extend his career and be productive well beyond when most RBs are.
