JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 So my wife sends me an email from work today that basically says "I'm going to a conference in Vegas, flying out Saturday January 10th. Would you want to see if my parents can come watch the kids so that you can come out too?" and my first thought was "What if the Bills are in the playoffs?" I am horrible, aren't I?
Malazan Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 You're a horrible human being, but not for that.

Would you want to see if my parents can come watch the kids so that you can come out too?" and my first thought was "What if the Bills are in the playoffs?" I am horrible, aren't I? I think that is a totally reasonable if not prudent thought process. No shame in that whatsoever. But yes, you are a horrible human being.
DC Tom Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 No, Ed's a horrible human being. You're just nuts.
4merper4mer Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 No, Ed's a horrible human being. You're just nuts. If you ask me, Ed's wife and Sage's wife are the horrible human beings for no longer allowing their husbands to post here and for commandeering their respective family's pants. As for the OP, making the playoffs is one thing, but a home game? Would you rather watch on a television at home with screaming kids running around or on a television in Vegas with scantily clad women running around?
boyst Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 If the Bills make the playoffs and you do not gomafte all the games you've been to that would be sad. Ya gotta go!
danh920 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 (edited) I've already informed my wife that if she wants to make plans for a sunday next fall, it would have to be halloween weekend Catch an early flight, 1st game isnt until 1 or 1:30pst, bypass the check in and proceed directly to the sports book Edited November 7, 2014 by danh920

The chances of the Bills playing a home game are ..... what he said If you ask me, Ed's wife and Sage's wife are the horrible human beings for no longer allowing their husbands to post here and for commandeering their respective family's pants. aussiew Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I do the same thing. Plan my whole life around the season and possibility of the post season. Other than Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, I never commit to anything with $$ involved other than flights and tickets for Bills games. So no, you're not a horrible human being..you're just a good Bills fan. Now, your wife on the other hand? Perhaps you need to train her better
filthymcnasty08 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Vegas is an excellent place to watch football. You can't lose here.
Guffalo Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 No, Ed's a horrible human being. You're just nuts. With Jay's game day kilt/skirt that is plain to see

I am horrible, aren't I? go if we are in the playoffs on Jan 10th, it won't be a home game.
3putt Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Yes. I didn't read past the the Thread title and figure I have a 50/50 chance. I am also a glass half empty kinda guy when it comes to the human condition. What did I win?
BELLABEANER Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 (edited) Actually I think its pretty rude of your wife for failing to consider that the Bills might be in the playoffs and that a trip to Vegas might interfer with your ability to watch or go to the game. What's the problem. If they play on that Saturday get an early flight & watch it at one of the many sports books available on the strip. That would be a great time.

Can't you watch the game from Vegas?
sodbuster Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 The Policy Sci department here at Brockport planned a trip to Croatia and Czech Republic that would last the first two weeks of January. I had decided not to go because "what if?" Luckily the trip got moved to May, so now I can have my cake and go to Europe, too.
PastaJoe Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 What if they make the playoffs and play in San Diego or Denver? Short detour on the way.
