jr1 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Kyle's been laid more than all those guys combined
johnwalter Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Ah, the old guilty in the court of public opinion... Well, its not like he's innocent in the court of the State of Nevada either. Ben made sure the case never reached legal courts by paying her off before the trial, also known as "settling out of court."

Just didn't want prolonged court proceedings and having the money to settle it quickly, did so.

Well, it was a lot more complicated but that, but lets not let truth stand in the way of smearing someones name. If you want to know more you'd have learned it by now, so I won't bother going any further in my effort to tell you just how wrong you are other then say it was also Harrah's Casino that also made sure this was settled quickly. Also, the State of Nevada has no judgements against Ben.
aristocrat Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I think they each need another super bowl win before they get the hall. Ben probably has the better shot now that he is getting a line
1B4IDie Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I really wanted Ben. I wanted us so badly to move up and get him. Why Did Pittsburgh take him! Tommy Maddax came off a great season! I watched the draft with Pittsburgh friend. I had my Big Ben jersey purchase ready to go. I was talking about what a stud he is going to be and how the Bills are going to take him with their next pick. He didn't know how Ben Roethlisberger was at the time. Then Pittsburgh made the pick which was unexpected at the time. He started laughing at me. He still texts me "Who is Ben Roethlisberger?" after a big game to this day, like last night for example.
Deranged Rhino Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 So, when are we going to start talk of Roethlisberger going in the HOF? Eli and Ben might both be deserving of the honor. Ben, though, may be one of the biggest, most under appreciated QB's of all time. When have people been saying been is not a HOFer? I missed that. The HOF pub started as soon as he got his second ring. No one of note says Ben isn't on his way to a first ballot HOF entry. The guy has the resume, plays for a historic franchise, and likely will have his name high in a lot of statistical categories when his career is all said and done.

We keep hearing about how great Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Wilson and many other are. Of all the "great" QB's I would only consider taking Brady or Peyton before Ben.

The Steelers have been pretty irrelevant in terms of the Super Bowl picture for the past few seasons, that's all it is I think.
The Big Cat Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 The Steelers have been pretty irrelevant in terms of the Super Bowl picture for the past few seasons, that's all it is I think. They won it in 2009 and lost it in 2010.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I`m pretty sure the steelers moved up in front of us, to take Ben that year. They knew we wanted him. I think they traded up with the 49ers pick ,right before us.
Deranged Rhino Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 They won it in 2009 and lost it in 2010. Back to back 8-8 seasons is a lifetime in the NFL, in terms of "hype". My point was that the only reasons Boyst hasn't heard many people talking about Ben's HOF resume lately is because they haven't been very good. Now that they're on a little run, it'll be something he'll hear more of.
Gugny Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Holy **** balls??? Why is moth on the naughty word list?
1B4IDie Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) I think they each need another super bowl win before they get the hall. Ben probably has the better shot now that he is getting a line There is only 1 QB with two SuperBowl wins that is not in the HoF. Big Ben (even with the rape allegations, He may just have to wait a year), Eli, Brady, and Peyton will be in the HoF, there are 100% chance that 10 years after any of those QBs retire they will be in the HoF. Big Ben and Eli may have to wait an extra year or two but they will get in. It is beyond a reasonable discussion to think otherwise. Edited November 3, 2014 by Why So Serious?

Gugny Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Eli wont make the cut. What are you basing your opinion on? Perhaps you should take a look at his stats. And his jewelry collection.
Deranged Rhino Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Eli wont make the cut. Eli's got two rings and has over half a decade left in his career. I don't think Eli's a first ballot guy, but he's got everything required to make the Hall.

It takes 0.5 second to look on wikipedia and realize that your through is incorrect. https://en.wikipedia.../2004_NFL_draft You don't understand why someone would give an opinion, state its an opinion, and also state they aren't sure of it.....Maybe because they are stating an opinion and not fact....
justnzane Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 What are you basing your opinion on? Perhaps you should take a look at his stats. And his jewelry collection. I think he'll make the cut, but the jewelry collection is largely due to not !@#$ing up and having a great D and run game. To say that he was even a top 5 QB for a large chunk of his career is a stretch. Thus, I believe he shouldn't be a HOF'er. With only 3 pro bowls and 3 time league worst in picks thrown (first year was his first SB win). I'd be appalled if he was a first ballot player.
