You'll love the first 4-5 seasons...I was pretty disappointed in how the series ended. Still worth watching all the way through. The first few seasons are incredible.

I don't know what I'm expecting, but it feels like it has had a pretty slow start. I'm at most 4 episodes in though, so I'm sure it'll pick up.

I'm looking forward to The Orville...

Me as well. Though I would have rather had seen the Always Sunny gang get their spaceship show (it had a very similar premise), but Seth is a space nerd so he should make it fun.

I'm amused watching SM try everything to become a leading man though, that's the fun B story to watch with this series for me.

What if the North had not won the Civil War?

HBO's 'Confederate' TV show: What if South won Civil War and still had slavery?

In a lot of ways I don't envy Weiss and Benioff. Grant it, they're dealing with "up town" problems, but it has to be daunting choosing which project to follow up Thrones with. After all, Thrones (more than likely) will be the pinnacle of their careers, whatever comes next will be ridiculously hyped and almost surely will never be able to live up to it - meaning even if the next show is good, they're going to get raked over the coals for it not being Thrones.

I expected them to play it safe with their next show, but clearly not. Jumping into an alt-history drama is a surprise - especially one as rife with controversy as this one seems to be - they're setting themselves up to be the butt of a lot of jokes if this flops. Good on both of them for taking a creative risk.

I'll be curious to see how this show develops.

The backlash has already begun - and the pilot hasn't even been written.

Definitely an interesting premise for a show. High risk. High reward. Will be interesting to see how they write a show without a book to fall back on. Let's hope the Dorne plot with Jaime and Bronn is just an outlier.

I wonder if they're going to do a 5th. Season 4 was a good watch, but the writing has definitely gotten lazier. Bad guys able to do impossible things and Sherlock just figuring stuff out on a whim.

Seasons 1 and 2 were more grounded.

The 2nd episode of season 4 was excellent. The other two were the weakest in the series but still worth a watch. Anybody looking for a great BBC Netflix show I'd highly suggest this.
