FutureBillsGM Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Actually Denver was the favorite for the SB at 3.5/1 in Vegas before the game yesterday. NE was second choice at 6-1. Given that NE now has the tiebreaker for home field, I would think at worst NE would be co-favorite with Denver at this point. My book currently has Denver +360 (3.6/1) and New England +600 (6/1) followed by Seattle, Green Bay, Arizona, Philly, Indy. Bills are currently tied for 19th with the Vikings and Giants at 100/1 Edited November 3, 2014 by FutureBillsGM
CardinalScotts Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I guess this is something I could care less about, it's not who odds makers think are the better team its the public perception. Chiefs made the playoffs they are still good right???? Buffalo how are they doing????? I'll take the chiefs ----and that's why Casino's don't lose money. Bills will beat Chiefs farily comfortable 30-17
FutureBillsGM Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) I'm not saying the Bills are going to the Super Bowl but man those odds look good for a 5-3 team. And I will probably be playing the Bills as well. I never bet against them but if it's one they will win I will play them. Edited November 3, 2014 by FutureBillsGM
nucci Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 If our Mickey Mouse offensive coordinator doesnt add any wrinkles to the run game, we'll be lucky to win 2 more the rest of the year. No guards and down to our 3rd and 4th string RBs. Any suggestions?
3rdand12 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 No guards and down to our 3rd and 4th string RBs. Any suggestions? Piece of cake. Urbik is back and our 3rd and 4th stringers are not really third and fourth stringers. They may be disguised as them though. Boobie and Bryce have enough talent to keep the Bills run game afloat. if not better than. Let Fred rest till the Jets . Brown may well shine is his second start as Dixon grinds it
IDBillzFan Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Money is moving to KC as the line is now at Bills + 2 1/2
bobobonators Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Money is moving to KC as the line is now at Bills + 2 1/2 It will continue to move to about +3.5 IMO.
BuffOrange Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 It will continue to move to about +3.5 IMO. I'll wager any amount you want and lay 10:1 it does not get to 3.5.
The Wiz Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Nothing a 2am fire alarm can't fix Just make sure it's the right hotel.
bobobonators Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I'll wager any amount you want and lay 10:1 it does not get to 3.5. On betus.com sportsbook it's already at +3. How much do you want to wager again?
C.Biscuit97 Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 There is nothing special about the Chiefs. Yet, they somehow beat us with 200 yards rushing and not scoring an offensive td. They should be favored but I could see us blowing them out just as easy.
Wayne Cubed Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I know previous years are completely different, from coaching staff to players but the Bills have played the Chiefs now 7 years in a row. In the previous 6 years the Bills are 4-2 against them including blow outs of 54-31, 41-7 and 35-17. The 2 losses were 10-13 at Arrowhead and last years debacle which should have been a win if not for Jeff Tuel and TJ Graham.

I listened to Eric Wood yesterday on WGR and he talked about how they play the Chiefs every year and there is a certain "rivalry"; and that apparently the OL has a beef with Tamba Hali based on some dirty stuff he was pulling a couple years ago when the Bills were whipping them at Arrowhead. BuffOrange Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 On betus.com sportsbook it's already at +3. How much do you want to wager again? I said any amount you want. Stipulating that it's a reputable book - pinnacle, bodog, 5dimes,etc. Not sure who betus is but it's +2 now. And there's a gigantic difference between 3 and 3.5; like more signficant than the difference between +2 and -2.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 (edited) maybe it goes all the way back to this game I can still recall the dazed look on Joe's face after this play Edited November 5, 2014 by BillsFan-4-Ever

Ive used pinnacle before and also betus. Betus used to be better than it is now (from what ive read bc i stopped using them a while ago so no first-hand horror stories). That being said, lets be real w this silly "bet". How about we just see where the line goes and say you were right/wrong after the fact. Lol

If you do make this bet I would put a stipulation that you use one sports book. I don't think it is fair to you that he could go to any sports book out there to find the line he is looking for. 5dimes & Bodog are the most reputable imo.
ProcessAccepted Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Basically Vegas is saying that on neutral field KC would be favorite by 3. Pretty reasonable considering the last few years of football! I'm not sure why history comes into this. This is a different team and a different year. There is nothing special about the Chiefs. Yet, they somehow beat us with 200 yards rushing and not scoring an offensive td. They should be favored but I could see us blowing them out just as easy. This D is not soft against the run. I'm not sure that Charles will finish the game.

True, I'd even limit it to the four mentioned. Would need a screenshot of 3.5 'cause it'd last 5seconds before every sharp in the world bet the max on the Bills to bring it back down (which is why it won't go that high in the first place, which was my point).
