Maury Ballstein Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 ACC watch. Ncstate lays a whooping on Duke. Okafor is not a robot UNC beats Louisville. Haven't seen Pitt yet but notre dame is good. UVA is the squad. Not sure about the CUSE. Haven't seen them since the Iowa game.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 When cooney is on, this team is really good. They could go inside out all day with Rak and him. Joseph needs to look for his shot; he was making a lot of great floaters earlier in the year. He needs to score. Hope McCullough is okay; not for nothing, but I have a good feeling he will be fine.
rumblefish Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 under achievers achieve again, perfect in ACC is a bonus, Cuse maybe better than rest of ACC realizes, nice win tonight
The Poojer Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) ugh!!!!! hope they don't push coleman back into the fold, rather bulk up for next season Official word from SU. Chris McCullough has a torn ACL in his right knee and will miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season- Brent Axe @BrentAxeMedia Edited January 12, 2015 by The Poojer

Chris McCullough has a torn ACL in his right knee and will miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season - Brent Axe @BrentAxeMedia What a shame. Can't see him going pro now,but I guess that didn't stop Noel. Agreed on Coleman.
The Poojer Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) i don't have much confidence that Chino can step up adequately, he just seems lost out there....Roberson, Johnson, Patterson and Joseph really need to step up their games. I am glad they have 5 days before playing WF, give them time in the gym to make MAJOR adjustments. And I don't think McCullogh has an iota of the talent Nerlens had so I suspect he will be back....btw, it is fun this season watching Nerlens break out as a major player. EDIT - Crap, i thought the WF game was saturday, it's tomorrow Edited January 12, 2015 by The Poojer
Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I like the Patterson-Cooney-Gbinije-Roberson-Christmas lineup. Sadly, we didn't lose much when McCullough went down. Despite a terrible start and all the outside commotion, I still see this thing coming together. Not final 4 caliber, mind you, but definitely watchable. The ACC is a crazy conference!!

I love Roberson on the glass; he gives us just a bit on offense and we will be fine.
The Poojer Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 the most important thing we lost was depth, and that is more important to this team than most I like the Patterson-Cooney-Gbinije-Roberson-Christmas lineup. Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 the most important thing we lost was depth, and that is more important to this team than most Agreed, Pooj. I was (I suppose) just lamenting on how disappointing CMac has been. I mean, you expect these top 25 recruits to come in and contribute almost immediately. McCullough has looked physically deficient and lacking confidence. He's just a kid. Here's to Chris McCullough after a year of the SU strength and conditioning program. Remember how much muscle Grant put on between his freshman and sophomore year?
Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Anyone with DirecTV can watch the game tonight on 722. DTV offering free preview of ESPN Full Court package.
The Poojer Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 Let's see what this team is made of. Gotta play strong!!!!!!
LB3 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Can't start til later. Let's go Cuse! Roberson shines tonight!
The Poojer Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 so far roberson isn't looking too sharp, joseph and rak are looking very strong Can't start til later. Let's go Cuse! Roberson shines tonight! pretty cool seeing Danny Manning coaching Wake, always liked him
Johnny Hammersticks Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 I'm simply awestruck at how bad this team can shoot sometimes. Roberson....really? No arc on his shots tonight. I swear, it's all mental with him.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Turned it on to see wake hit a half court shot. So it's going to be one of those games.
The Poojer Posted January 14, 2015 Author Posted January 14, 2015 phew, what a game....Rak is nails. Silent G is gonna drive us crazy all year long. Joseph played well, but nice to see patterson get some good solid playing time, need johnson to step it up too
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Holy cow. What a game. Wake was shooting lights out (including from half court), and we still made some great runs anytime they went on one. How about Rak? The guy could be my favorite Cuse player. I love how he is even clutch at the FT line now.
LB3 Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 so far roberson isn't looking too sharp, joseph and rak are looking very strong Yeah. Roberson was way too hesitant. It was frustrating.
