Captain Hindsight Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Yeah, I know. Hoyer is playing against a pretty bad Buc's secondary, so there's that. I guess I'm whistling in the dark here but, believe me, the pickings were slim. If Hoyer is going to have his game of the year, today would be nice. Heres a tough one for ya. Due to people not knowing how to draft, i ended up Brady and Peyton as my QBs. Who do I play today?
gomper Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Brady. Forecast is snow and high winds. He throws a better cold weather ball than Manning.

God help me. jordan Cameron is out for 2 weeks... That could be rough on Hoyer
gomper Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 jordan Cameron is out for 2 weeks... That could be rough on Hoyer It's either him or Tannehill. I'm just going to hide under a blanket and hope he gives me some respectable points. Capt- I was wrong about the forecasi in NE being so extreme for this time of year, 36 and windy. That being said, I'd still take Brady.
NoSaint Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Brady. Forecast is snow and high winds. He throws a better cold weather ball than Manning. Couple years back I saw a stat on Brady's last 6 or 8 games in snow and it was crazy - I'm talking like 75-80% completions with 4 tds a game kind of crazy. It was right around that huge Tennessee game he had Edited November 2, 2014 by NoSaint
Ted William's frozen head Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Yea - hopefully we don't at some point find ourselves facing similar frustrations from dealing with him Give Orton back for two # 1 picks. :-)
gomper Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Brady really can do it all, in any situation or conditions. I know, everyone here hates him, and with good reason. He has been a pain in the ass for 13 years but I really love the way he plays. If we played the Martians next Sunday for the right to the solar system, I'd start Brady over Manning. Kills me to state that but the truth is the truth.

YoloinOhio Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 @ESPNNFL: Passes caught from Brandon Weeden today: • Cowboys WRs: 2 • Arizona Cardinals: 2 http://t.co/CEkiyKlRpX
truth on hold Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 @ESPNNFL: Passes caught from Brandon Weeden today: • Cowboys WRs: 2 • Arizona Cardinals: 2 http://t.co/CEkiyKlRpX that will be the narrative of course because of the romo-media machine. But the real story is that Cards D held Murray to lowest total of the year @ just 79 on 19 carries

gomper Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Update- Hoyer threw for 300 and 2 TD's. He got me just under 16 points! If Hilton gets just four points, I win. Capt- Hope you took my advice and started Brady. 4 TD's. All in a days work for that guy.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Aikman made a point to bring up the Orton situation. I believe it was Aikman or maybe Buck that painted out the rumor of personalities not meshing between Orton and Romo. Aikman also very subtly questioned the Romo decision to not play.
papazoid Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I expect Romo to be out a month (3 games) ARZ, JAX & BYE week
