Bubba Gump Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Would you draft this kid? He has a huge arm and kinda looks like a Kelly/Favre hybrid. I think he can make it in the NFL.
The Williams Family Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Bo runs an option style offense there would be a Huge learning curve coming into the NFL for him but he does have a great arm and some good legs. I would take him 3rd round if anything
Bubba Gump Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 That's what I was thinking, a third or fourth round pick. He can't be any worse than EJ?
YoloinOhio Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I like him but he'd be a project. 4th or later.
Green Lightning Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Another project QB with a strong arm and legs? Great! Sign me up. You can't have enough of those.
The Williams Family Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 i like Shane Carden From ECU for god sakes this guy beat UNC 70 to 41.he reads routes well and throws a good looking ball.
bowery4 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Another project QB with a strong arm and legs? Great! Sign me up. You can't have enough of those. I see the sarcasm there but I have to say I do agree.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Would you draft this kid? He has a huge arm and kinda looks like a Kelly/Favre hybrid. I think he can make it in the NFL. I started a thread on him a couple weeks ago but he has bad games and good games, its kinda like inconsistency just not in a game. I think he is worth a fourth and has more potential than ej and tuel.
HankBulloughMellencamp Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Not sure where he projects when all is said and done, but everytime I see him, I like him. Has some Cutler-isms in his look and delivery... not sure if I love his arm, but I like his toughness, leadership, and moxie in the pocket.
Maury Ballstein Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Huge no. Might wanna watch the ole miss game last week.
CSBill Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I like the other Mississippi Qb better: the MSU, he looks like a better passer to me, and more athletic.
KD in CA Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Huge no. Might wanna watch the ole miss game last week. I've seen very little of him, but I did watch the second half of that game and Wallace was awful; he was completely rattled by the D and the crowd. I assume he looked better yesterday based on the score.
GunnerBill Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 No, no, no. I have zero confidence he could execute a pro-style offense. He is woeful from the pocket.
BigBuff423 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 If the BILLS are to Draft another QB, which I'm hoping they do, my personal preference would be to Draft a college QB that has played in a Pro Style Offense for at least 2 years, as a starter...he doesn't have to have the arm of Superman, but he would need to have a strong "enough" arm, be accurate, smart, and able to move WITHIN the pocket...no more read option offenses please...the best QBs, not named Russell Wilson, generally have good pocket presence and know how to move thing the pocket while keeping their eyes down-field. And, I want a guy who's done it in a Pro Style Offense....but that's me. So, while Wallace is intriguing and maybe he'll turn into a good QB, I would rather not. JMO
26CornerBlitz Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 That's what I was thinking, a third or fourth round pick. He can't be any worse than EJ? No way! He can easily be far worse than EJ. Bottom line is no thanks.
All_Pro_Bills Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) I recall a few plays that he under-threw the receiver and the commentators stated that he doesn't have the arm strength to get the ball deep down field. So so-called big strong-armed QB is just big QB. Not worthy of consideration.. Edited November 3, 2014 by All_Pro_Bills
K-9 Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Well, he's not as good as EJ in college so I'm not sure why anyone would think he can't be worse as a pro. He could definitely be worse; a lot worse. GO BILLS!!!
