Jackel_One Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Are OV splits still around? I loved those tasty little thirst quenchers! Hope so, because I can’t carry a full Keg of Cream Ale which is about equal in Value...
Augie Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I'm surprised by how many people think a first round pick is a sure thing. Do you want a hell ya sure thing, or two maybes? (And a fourth)
Kirby Jackson Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 The amazing thing about this thread is the names that we are debating. Think about what that says for Sammy?
flmike Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Luck would be the only one. I have this feeling that Rodgers doesn't play as well on another team. No evidence, just a feeling.

No doubt certainly kills the was he worth it debate, but on the other hand I seriously doubt anybody would trade the franchise QBs were talking about for a receiver.
Big Gun Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Just for the fun of it, what would you want in return in a Sammy Watkins trade ??? Now think this out carefully, you are giving up a 21 year old Sammy Watkins and this could one of the best WR's EVER .. -- A sheet pizza and a case of Brador.

justnzane Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I'd want Luck, Wilson, or Rivers (still has enough tread on his tires) or some Hershel Walker-esque number of top picks.
maddenboy Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I haven't seen a better, more complete WR since Megatron came in the league. Larry Fitzgerald?
GunnerBill Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Luck or Rodgers. Wilson has to win some big games on his arm alone before I'm putting him in that category. He has won big games without help from his defense but he has largely done it with his legs. In terms of being long term elite I'm not sure that is sustainable. Edited November 2, 2014 by GunnerBill
Last Guy on the Bench Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Larry Fitzgerald? Fitzgerald came into the league three years before Johnson.
Captain Caveman Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 You would trade Sammy for Russell Wilson ? How much better is he then Kyle Orton ? That's like asking how much better the wings are at Duffs vs. Applebees.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Exactly. If you had to choose one player right now in the entire league if you were a, say, expansion team. Luck would be first and Wilson is probably number two, even though guys like Manning and Rodgers are playing at a higher level. Wilson is likely, barring injury, to be an absolute star qb for 10-12 more years. Rodgers is only 30. I'd easily take him over wilson. It's barely debatable. Wilson won't be running for 50 yards a game in 8 years and rodgers playing style should keep him intact for years to come.
bobobonators Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 You would trade Sammy for Russell Wilson ? How much better is he then Kyle Orton ? Oh geeze
jimmy10 Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Megatron. Not the football player, but the transforming robot.
ALLEN1QB Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Why do we have to keep doing these ridiculous topics? GO bowling or something geezzzz
