Wacka Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I had my road test a few weeks before the Blizzard of '77. The guy told me to close the window after one hand signal. The curb was under a drift so he said to parallel park with the drift and when i stopped at a stop sign the car started skidding. U corrected, They were;t supposed to comment then , but he said "good". I knew I passed immediately.

DC Tom Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Isn't that a Marshall Tucker song? "Snow on the pumpkin, leaves in the air, Candy in them homes, and it's waiting for me there..."
boyst Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Snow in NC. Not that uncommon for this time of year, but it's shut down some towns up in the mountains. http://myfox8.com/2014/10/31/snow-expected-in-the-mountains-cold-rain-in-the-piedmont/ I am headed toward the Mountains in the morning, going to Taylorsville, up toward Wilkesboro and going to see some. Watuaga already has a bunch. 6+"
