Saxum Posted November 1, 2014 Share Posted November 1, 2014 I do not believe the story for one reason: They’re doing it all from a makeshift mission control center in an abandoned McDonald’s in Mountain View, California, using old radio parts from eBay and a salvaged flat screen TV. FWIW it is located on the NASA Ames Research Center's grounds ... why rebuild when you can just move in.
