Webster Guy Posted November 1, 2014 Author Posted November 1, 2014 Even if they had tagged Levitre it would have allowed them to groom a few new draftees last year and find out what they had. If a backup guard prospect does well then you let Andy walk in year 2, and if not then you sign him. I am still completely baffled by the number of people that think it was a good idea to let Levitre go, yet have no idea that we had the money to retain a guy that loved Buffalo, knew the divisional opponents well, was durable and had great chemistry with Eric Wood. I rank that move up there with not retaining Pat Williams, and Antoine Winfield. What the hell are you thinking? In Andy's case we had a rookie qb with a turnstile LG protecting his blindside. Genius.
