NextYearGuys Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 That was actually one of the funniest things I've ever heard hahahaha
Don Dokken Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Wow. Mike Francesa morphed into Kathleen Sebelius so gradually I hardly even noticed
26CornerBlitz Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Idzik 'Extremely Disappointed' With 1-7 Start Jets GM Gives Mid-Season Address to Reporters on Monday Francesa's rant was a response to this weak presser by the Jets' GM.
sodbuster Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Almost as good as the Kansas City host after we blew em out a couple years ago.
Buffalos#1Fan Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 listening to that makes me almost feel bad for the jets... almost
truth on hold Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) I can't tell if Francesa was being genuine or putting on a little act for the audience - either way, he's liable to have a stroke if he's not careful... Im sure part of it was playing to the audience. Trying to be the voice to express their frustration. But for the most part jets brought it on themselves and he did make some important observations. Like how they overly celebrate anything positive. And frankly at this point jets do not look like a professionally coached team. Remind me of high school or NCAA division III. The failed gimmick plays that backfire, trying to con bills that harvin wasnt part of the game plan ... which again fooled no one, and lead to Geno's 1st INT For contrast how a more professional teak like the giants conduct themselves heres an interview with giants GM. Much more straightforward, balanced and substantive http://nypost.com/20...g-too-cautious/ Edited October 28, 2014 by Joe_the_6_pack
26CornerBlitz Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Is this real? It's the NY Daily News. Of course it is.
YoloinOhio Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 It's the NY Daily News. Of course it is. It looks like a parody. lol.
dave mcbride Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 This is awesome - http://deadspin.com/this-failed-trick-play-from-the-jets-gets-sadder-every-1651213791
Captain Hindsight Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 This is awesome - http://deadspin.com/...very-1651213791 That is such a weak effort by the blockers there. Terrible I cannot believe that is a Rex coached team
DC Tom Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 This is awesome - http://deadspin.com/...very-1651213791 The greatest trick TJ Graham ever pulled was convincing the Bills he didn't exist. Only...not.
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 That is such a weak effort by the blockers there. Terrible I cannot believe that is a Rex coached team The comments are hilarious too... such as the person who notes that when Graham saw the play had blown up he ran downfield "to get open."
IDBillzFan Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 GR could only wish they had someone like him. Hey! We have Tim Graham and his passive aggressive condescending Tweets during a game, mocking EJ Manuel while he's on the bench. That's quality right there. Quality, I'm tellin' ya!
Fan in San Diego Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 That was hysterical ! Thanks for posting it!
truth on hold Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) This is awesome - http://deadspin.com/...very-1651213791 that really was an amateurish overall game plan by the Jets. They wanted Harvin to be the focus of the offense but con Bills into that not being the case with Rex's pre-game comments about not using him much. This fooled no one, and was a simple adjustment to make anyway. Geno's first pick was a result of trying to force it to him downfield -- I blame that one on the coaches. And later on the ridiculous kick off play, which again fooled no one -- if you notice theres a Bill player right on top of TJ. No one wonder he didnt bother getting up until it was too late, and Harvin saw the Bills guy too and wisely just decided to eat it. I bet Harvin wishes he were back in Seattle already, and out of that circus Edited October 28, 2014 by Joe_the_6_pack
