26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) @adbrandt MIchael Vick to start for @nyjets, per Rex Ryan. Management's hand picked QB of the future, Geno Smith, will sit, at least for now. Rex Ryan: Vick will start at QB for Jets in Week 9 vs. Chiefs Edited October 27, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 that was to be expected. good thing we faced the rusty Mike Vick
PromoTheRobot Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Maybe Vick will finally crack open the playbook.
Buffalos#1Fan Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Michael Vick did not seem prepared in the slightest yesterday
26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 Michael Vick did not seem prepared in the slightest yesterday He missed quite a few reads as pointed out by Rich Gannon.
Like A Mofo Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 He missed quite a few reads as pointed out by Rich Gannon. Almost any QB misses reads. The Jets fan in Gannon just kept looking for them
bobobonators Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 that 1st quarter was the worst QB performance i've watched in recent memory - hands down (at the professional level at least).
plenzmd1 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 He missed quite a few reads as pointed out by Rich Gannon. speaking of which, i cant listen to Gannon on the radio, but liked his call yesterday.
Fan in Chicago Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 good thing we faced the rusty Mike Vick is there another kind ?
need therapy Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Good, hopefully he can lead them to a win and help the Bills out. I'm not holding my breath though. He may still be able to run, but his passing accuracy was horrible
Captain Hindsight Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Damn I was hoping to watch Geno some more
26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 Damn I was hoping to watch Geno some more Not me. Vick gives the Jets a better chance to beat KC.
K-9 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 KC is a tough place to play. If A Smith is limited by his sprained shoulder, the Jest can keep it close with that D. If not, I think KC wins going away and Rex gets schitcanned after the game. GO BILLS!!!
boyst Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Michael Vick did not seem prepared in the slightest yesterday To me he looked just like Vick normally does. He just looked slower. A few plays were bad - him bumping in to players, or turning the wrong way. But, he has always done that - go back to Atlanta and see for yourself. that was to be expected. good thing we faced the rusty Mike Vick He was not rusty. That's just what Vick has to offer. Prior to the last 3 or 4 years and age catching up to him he'd just tuck the ball and run with it. The fans and ignorant just cheered and thought he was a playmaker. The reason he tucked and ran is because he has never been good at making reads or playing an actual quarterback in a football game. He is and always has been sandlot and damn good at it. He ended up doing that several times yesterday and due to his age did not succeed like he would have 5-10 years ago. He could have and would have killed us with more tread on his tires. speaking of which, i cant listen to Gannon on the radio, but liked his call yesterday. You mean on Sirius? He can drone on and on but once in a while when he gets to breaking down plays and giving analysis on players he is phenomenal; this is why he is great as a color man.
Alaska Darin Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Here's to the Jets winning four or five games and getting a ****ty draft pick!
YoloinOhio Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) I'm glad. They may now win just enough games to move down in the draft and maybe knock off some AFC contenders for us. Edited October 27, 2014 by YoloinOhio
KD in CA Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Here's to the Jets winning four or five games and getting a ****ty draft pick! Not to mention maybe beating a couple teams that will be fighting the Bills for a WC spot.
YoloinOhio Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Not to mention maybe beating a couple teams that will be fighting the Bills for a WC spot. kc, pats, stillers for starters. I just realized we play them again 3 games from now.
IDBillzFan Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 that was to be expected. good thing we faced the rusty Mike Vick Oh, please. The dog-killing convict is a turnover machine. He hasn't been the same since he got out of the pen. Coincidence? I'm glad. They may now win just enough games to move down in the draft and maybe knock off some AFC contenders for us. Rex somehow has the ability to take one from NE* each year. Though Geno played well in that game, perhaps Vick can trip them up.
