eball Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 ...and I see this as a potentially significant issue going into the 2nd half of the season. At this pace, the Bills may only win 10 of their 16 games and be facing a situation in which they will have to try and score slightly more points than their opponent in the postseason. Thoughts?
Mr. WEO Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I think they should be able to put those few extra points into a points bank to use when they don't score more points than the other team in a given game.
BillnutinHouston Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I agree, this is a major problem that cannot be tolerated. Fire someone!

Yes. We should've saved 2 TD's for the Broncos game so we could jump to a 14 point lead. Friggin Havkett screwing us again.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 This is definitely a factor that worries me. I know that "experts" try to use bogus statistics to correlate a points surplus with winning, but the Bills have a long tradition of being out-scored. We gotta stick with what we do.
IDBillzFan Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I want to comment, but I'm just too embarrassed right now to contribute.
The Big Cat Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 If we only 10 games when we should have won 18, then everyone should be fired. Starting with Pegula.

This is lazy analysis at best. You need to consider that in most games, the D is making it tough on opposing Offenses. Also, the ST have improved. All these aspects are making the Bills look better than they actually are. Next time, do you homework before posting. Edited October 27, 2014 by Fan in Chicago
plenzmd1 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 hey, you trying to reinvent the wheel here. As Bills fans, it is our birth right to be miserable.....
CJallDAY Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I blame dan carpenter for missing all those extra points
bobobonators Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 lol. Speaking of Dan Carpenter - the guy has been an absolute stud here. Lindell was awesome for us, but I'm more confident in Carpenter from 45+ than I was with Lindell.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 offensive points or TEAM points? I blame dan carpenter for missing all those extra points thats 2 doinks off of the goal posts so far IIRC. damn NFL for raising the bars 5 extra feet

RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Realists understand that the simple accumulation of more points in any one game is not the true measure of a team's success. They know how to dig deeper and appreciate that there are always reasons to be grumpy and dissatisfied, unlike all those homers who think that scoring more points than the other teams each week is something to celebrate.

Never trusted Lindell after that Pittsburgh miss. But, its only points, of which Eric says we have a bad habit of just scoring enough of
Rob's House Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I want to comment, but I'm just too embarrassed right now to contribute. I'm with you. If they keep racking up embarrassing wins we should start wearing paper bags on our heads.

This gives me as much comfort as a condom claiming 95% effectiveness.
papazoid Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 without scoring a point, bills may be the only AFC East team not to lose in week #9.
