RuntheDamnBall Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I was at the game, and one thing that I observed was, "damn if the Jets weren't getting treated like the Buffalo Bills," and at home at that. Yes, "we" won, but the Jets are a bad football team, they get no breaks, and they cough up footballs like coins from a loose slot machine. I think this is just another thing we have to remember when we think about how Hackett masterminded a 43-point effort.
Dorkington Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I noticed that too, and I was totally ok with it!
RuntheDamnBall Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 I noticed that too, and I was totally ok with it! For sure. For me, it's just another reminder that everything was going Buffalo's way today. That's pleasant, but also not always going to happen.
BuffOrange Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 We're due for like a billion more breaks after the Bears/Texans/Lions/Pats/Vikes games imo. It's a miracle they haven't decided any games yet (assuming the mugging of Woods on the int in Houston wouldn't have ended in a TD drive + OT win).
Kelly the Dog Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I really hope that Mike Vick said something incredibly offensive to the Bills bench or the officials when he got that taunting call. That was one of the most terrible calls I have seen in awhile, and we all know what kind of calls the Bills were getting against them the last few weeks.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 The Jets deserved flags with actual rules infractions today.
truth on hold Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 It looked like Lawson got away with a late hit out of bounds and either Hughes or bradham with a late hit on Vick well after the whistle had blown
RuntheDamnBall Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 The Jets deserved flags with actual rules infractions today. No argument there.
Freddie's Dead Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Bills had a 4th and 6 early and were punting. Jets jump, Bills move, we got the false start call. Would have made an interesting choice for Dougie if it was 4th and 1 at the Jets 40 instead of 4th and 11. Zebras blew that one but otherwise it looked like an even game. You can forgive the miss on Leodis, that looked good to all of us real time. The taunting calls were weird. Marv would have called the ref an over-officious jerk. Was surprised TJ didn't get one by himself for pushing Gilmore to the wall, er..., for Gilmore dragging TJ to the wall. They must have seen it that way for the offset. If by interesting you mean embarrassing wimpy punt, ya.
