folz Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 http://espn.go.com/b...-at-midway-mark Jesus, talk about a negative article. Basically, the Bills suck, even though they are 5-3. Seriously... He says it will be tough for the Bills in the 2nd half of the season because they face only 2 teams with losing records. As if that is vastly different than the only 3 teams with losing records we faced in the first half of the season. He then says the Bills have no convincing wins except for the two convincing wins they do have. Yes, the team isn't there yet (as far as being a definite contender), but no mention that the D is one of the best in the league, etc. Just look at how bad their offense is and they've been lucky to win the games they've won.

"convincing wins?" WGAS. This isn't college. A win by 1 or 20 counts the same. On to the next.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 Bills takeaway tally key in victory The Bills forced six turnovers on the day (four interceptions and two fumble recoveries) for a game differential of +6.

The thing I further hate about this... We played the Bears and Lions on the road, both tough challenges. Chicago, being their home opener, which is a big deal, and Detroit, being Orton's first game as starting QB. The fact that we won those games at all should speak volumes. The Vikings game, ok, I'll give him that... we made so many mistakes, yet still pulled it out in the end. Frankly, I'm fine with how we got 4 out of 5 of our victories... not every win is going to be a freaking blow out. Edited October 27, 2014 by Dorkington

dave mcbride Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Sounds more like a working class democrat. He's a liberal - he did his college thesis on postwar liberalism. I like him even more! (I'll duck my head now ). Not until he starts posting on PPP Ha! You think he'll pull a Steve Christie?
GG Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Ha! You think he'll pull a Steve Christie? As long as he doesn't do a full frontal gatorman

26CornerBlitz Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) @JohnKryk The #Bills and #Dolphins are the only AFC teams with a winning road record (both 3-1). @JaySkurski Interesting note from #Bills snap counts vs. Jets: Chris Gragg led all tight ends with 37 snaps (67 %), Lee Smith had 33, Scott Chandler 30. Also, playing time was split, 75 percent to 25 percent for Anthony Dixon and Bryce Brown, respectively. #Bills Edited October 27, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz

His rookie year, Gragg graded best in blocking during pre-season... wonder if that trend is continuing into real games.
CodeMonkey Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) So the Bills hire Rex as HC, move Marrone to OC and Schwartz as DC. Could be much worse. Add a young starting QB (yeah I know, much easier said than done) and keep ex-porn-stache as vet backup and mentor and they could be on to something there. Edited October 27, 2014 by CodeMonkey
