RuntheDamnBall Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Thought you were saying was cut! Phew.
NoSaint Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 so they are benching CR, and leaving Pears at RG (urbiks former position)..... im surprised, but i havent compared/contrasted the two on the level coaches likely have.....
Captain Hindsight Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 They could have flipped a coin because both are playing awful. My guess is since its the blindside, it makes more sense to try Urbik there and shore up that side first. Maybe we see CK in a few weeks for Pears if his poor play continues
LeGOATski Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I'd rather he replace Pears, honestly. But, the offense has gone into pass mode, so I guess it makes sense.
Doc Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 About friggin' time! Although Pears still starting at RG isn't a good thing.
The Big Cat Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 All-22 showed the left side has been CONSISTENTLY befuddled by stunts since week 3.
Deranged Rhino Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 About seven weeks late, but I will take it. I loath Pears as a player, that said the rookie has been getting worse and needed to sit. It's the right move.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 All-22 showed the left side has been CONSISTENTLY befuddled by stunts since week 3. My untrained eye has shown me the same re the right side too.
The Big Cat Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 My untrained eye has shown me the same re the right side too. Okay.
Andrew Son Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 As bad as Pears has been, a change on that side would probably make Henderson worse
TPS Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 since the main problem for the left side of the line appears to be stunts, which means speaks to communication and experience issues between Glenn and Richardson; it remains to be seen if Urbik's experience from his days at RG translate to better play and communication at LG.
HeHateMe Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Richardson has been worse that Pears... and that is really saying something.
bowery4 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Gotta be better than before, now let's hope Ubrick and Wood stay healthy. Fingerscrossed.
nucci Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 About friggin' time! Although Pears still starting at RG isn't a good thing. agree but Richardson is clearly not ready...i think he will be good but we need vets in there. This team can make a run to playoffs with a bit more consistent offense
Big C Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Yeah, I liked Urbik as RG going into the season, but Richardson has been worse than Pears. Pears isn't good, but he is a veteran and he is better than Richardson right now.
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Okay. Fact of the matter, it is a total disaster at both spots. Unless we can clone Urbik or pick someone else up, at least one side will be an issue.
26CornerBlitz Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) Richardson has to be benched this Sunday with Urbik starting in his place. I'll be surprised if Marrone doesn't announce this on Wednesday because he cannot be this damned dumb and/or stubborn. Edited October 22, 2014 by 26CornerBlitz
