Dirt rd down the mountain 1 to 1 1/2 cars wide steep drop off. About 4 miles long. Tons of turns. GPS took us that way. Beautiful views. 66 out side in Lynchburg Staying at springshill suites

He leads tours there and its a great stop. Also, Appomattox Courthouse isn't far and only takes an hour to really see. My girlfriend went to Sweet Briar and that's an awesome campus, too. We went up to Bedford last June. You're about 2 hours and 20 minutes away, FWIW. Oh and congrats! Edited October 23, 2014 by jboyst62

If you not in a hurry to get home, great wineries to tour in the Charlottesville area. Go to the Trump one and spit wine everywhere
