PlayoffsPlease
With Spiller gone, there is now not a single player from the 2010 draft on the Bills active roster. mrags
Who are you kidding? Even with Spiller it was one of the worst ever.
Hazed and Amuzed
Was it worse than having zero players on the roster four years later? There was only 1 out of the 7 picks that lasted with the Bills for more than 2 years- Sammy Morris. Not even their 1st round pick made it more than 2 years with them- Erik Flowers. At least Spiller had some value for a season. There was not one player from that 2000 draft who had any value to the Bills. Sammy Morris was a decent special teamer. KD in CA
Who are you kidding? Even with Spiller it was one of the worst ever. Yup. A handful of highlights over the years never changed the fact Spiller was another awful draft day decision.
doro
If CJ goes to any team with real coach and QB, he will be in the Prob Bowl
filthymcnasty08
Troupe one pick before hometown Gronk…. that is the stuff of a 14 year playoff drought right there.
mrags
If CJ goes to any team with real coach and QB, he will be in the Prob Bowl Id love to say... Well just see about that. But the fact is, if he goes to another team and flames out like he did with Buffalo, people will still just make excuses for him. Even thought he's been injured in every single season he's been in the league, people will somehow flip this one and say that he changed becaise of this injury and only if he never got injured. #dontlettheexcuseseverdie

Sojourner
Didn't he get to the Probowl under gailey with fitz playing qb? Meh. He was an alternate and the AFC didn't exactly have any great RB's that season other than Foster and Charles. Ravens went to the SB so Rice was unable to attend. Max997
I was amazed how many people bought into Buddy Nix. That first draft was awful but I don't think it's worse then Butlers last draft

I hear people say this, but I'll say I see a marked difference before and after Modrak was the guy responsible for putting together the draft board. Pinning woeful drafting on nix doesn't add up if you look at 2011 on.

Look no further than the Buddy Nix's drafts to wonder why the Bills struggle at home against one of the NFL's worst teams. To be fair, this was Nix's first Draft as GM when he was appointed just a few months before and completely dependent on the scouts information....nearly all of whom he fired immediately following the 2010 Draft. Just to put it in perspective and not defending him entirely, but we should assess all the facts including ones that may not help our argument for our point but relevant and true. So, 2011 was his first true Draft with an entire year to prepare for and with Scouts he chose. That's not to say it was much better but it did yield Dareus and yes, he was the 3rd overall pick - but all the more relevant to hitting on an important player. Just FYI...
