MarkAF43 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Freddy and CJ both get hurt at some point every year. It's not exactly the same thing. They were hurt in the same game today. It's the exact same thing as you saying the odda of urbik and wood getting hurt in the same game.
TakeYouToTasker Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Richardson was completely exposed by stunts. The game hasn't slowed down for him yet.
Owf71 Posted October 19, 2014 Author Posted October 19, 2014 There was an article saying we were trying to trade him before the season link-http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2014/8/29/6084405/buffalo-bills-trying-to-trade-kraig-urbik-per-report It also mentions that he fell out of graces...is the coach really that moody that of someone crosses him he's rather loose than play them?
Coach Tuesday Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Marrone would rather lose doing it his way than win doing it someone else's. He's a jerk.
Buffaloed in Pa Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 I`m really starting to think that way coach. He`s like a spoiled kid.
Big C Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 (edited) They were hurt in the same game today. It's the exact same thing as you saying the odda of urbik and wood getting hurt in the same game. If you were asked which pair of players is more likely to be injured in the same game, let alone at any point in the season, it is unquestionably Fred and CJ. Then, the fact is that Urbik is supposed to be backup center, so he would have to be injured before Wood goes down. The point was that Urbik needs to be healthy in case Wood goes down. So it is "what are the odds of Urbik getting hurt playing guard then Wood going down after that?" Also, the nature of OL is different than RB. You only need one RB at a time, you need 5 OL. Even if we are talking specifically interior, you need more than one out at all times. You don't rotate OL positions like RB either. Point that really matters is: If Urbik is a better guard than Pears, you get him out there NOW. You are playing to win the game NOW. Have a contigency plan that allows your best linemen to play NOW. We aren't sitting Woods because Sammy might get hurt, although maybe that's why they are sitting Mike Williams? Haha. We aren't sitting Dareus because KW might get hurt. But we do have contingencies in place if one or both of them does. Etc, etc. I see the need to have a backup center, but at this point we need to get our best players out there and think about maybe replacing one of the bad ones altogether. Green Lightning Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Marrone would rather lose doing it his way than win doing it someone else's. He's a jerk. I'm coming to that conclusion myself.
peterpan Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Here is a novel idea, start Urbik and find a new backup center..... Just imagine an offensive line with Urbik and Incognito as the guards. Its so obvious I cant believe it hasnt happend
Owf71 Posted October 20, 2014 Author Posted October 20, 2014 ^^^^ agreed or better yet rather than working Cyrus at guard have him learn how to snap the ball, start Urbik at guard and of him or woods goes down Cyrus can be emergency center
RuntheDamnBall Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Here is a novel idea, start Urbik and find a new backup center..... I'd settle for a new HC and offensive coordinator.
BrooklynBills Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Probably the same odds we lose FJ and CJ in one game. One is 33. The other has been injured every year he's been in the league. The odds were high.
Saxum Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I can't figure it out. I think Urbik was at worst serviceable last year. We need him as backup center, sure. But what are the odds we lose Urbik and then Wood in one game? Same odds as Vikings losing center and guard and having no linemen on bench like this game.
